hi ur vid is great well done by the way maybe 1day u might wanna try the 200mile trip i have attempted in a day i have done 175 miles in 11 hours and 30 mins from liverpool to london click in me to check out my vids
well done mate. What kind of preperation did you do before this? I only ask because I am doing around 20 miles a day 2-3times a week and been dropped in the deep end and have a 170mile 2-day trip in 2 weeks and i'm worrying like crazy!!
from 5am to 9am( 38miles) stop and rest had something to eat..
11am to 3.30pm (49 mile) rest in park and eat..
then 5pm to 10pm (43 mile)
and I will never do it again, 13 and a half hours on the road that is an average near to 10mph which is not that fast but my age is 43 and I was not pushing myself I was taking it easy I use a TREK FX 7.3...
coming home I only did 50 miles and got fed up it was raining all the time so I got the train .
Hi mate, thanks for posting, cycled from Hemel Hempstead upto Norwich last year, 123 miler, did it in 6hrs 35 mins and did the Norwich 100 this year, think stopping and stretching regulary , especially your lower back and hip flexors makes a big difference
Congrats, good luck with the Tour de France route. I live in Bedfordshire, but I'm only about 20-25 miles away from Cambridge, I'd love to cycle 100 miles in a day. I usually do at least 10 miles a day on a relatively uphill route and maybe repeated it 2-3 times of a week day and on a weekend will just cycle as much as possible. I haven't been cycling long but I like to push for the burn :P Well done once again and best of luck for France.
Super video. Impressed you did it in the winter. Well done!
