@reg12269 - This is why more and more people need to become Libertarian, and I switched as of the past November elections. They are truly what the founding fathers had in mind, except that the Libertarians aren't racist and sexist like the founding fathers were.
It's all about the basics: fiscal responsibility, limited gov't involvement, and respect for others and what they do in private where no harm is done.
If the Libertarian Party got ingrained in America, good things could happen.

@sportsoracle pt1: dont be so quick to discount the racist element amongst most white libertarians. most believe the civil war should not have been fought and strict interpretive view of the slavery-based US constitution. spin it how ever u want, the pragmatic effect is that it makes one lean towards the anti-white and non-female or minority side of the aisle. also, libertarians can not win outside of fringe states like NH on a very local level. humans are not designed to be "logical" first!

@sportsoracle PT2: humans are always more emotional than logical regardless of how we may deny or publically fake it. look at the libertarian-lite tea party.fiscal issues are ultimately just a mask. thats not enough red meat. people vote against their fiscal interests all the time. its CULTURAL stuff that counts. the social-relational issues are what people rally around. at this stage, most non-whites have issues with that dynamic. u must grasp y that is to reach them!
