Great playing from these great trombonists. Alessi and Blair are my favorite trombonists, although I also like Ben van Dijk, Jorgen van Rijen, and others.
It is 'Midnight' by Nicola Ferro. Mr. Alessi has recorded Daybreak and Sunset from the same set of four works depicting the stages of the Sun on his Return to Sorrento disc. The 4th piece is called Midday.
Wow! Masato Honda - Kimi wa Esper (2004) turned me onto this group this am! My daddy and oldest brother both played trombone and keyboards! This is fantastic!!!!
Joseph Alessi is so good! His sound in the upper register is what, in my opinion, separates him from so many others. He is the prime example of artistry, hands down!
