  • @TromboneMasterMan it's a double A

  • @DemTheComposer haha ohh okay, i was just throwing a pitch out i wasnt trying to guess the actual thing.

  • @TromboneMasterMan That was an A. And I'm pretty sure that was Mark Lawrence that did it.

  • Great playing from these great trombonists. Alessi and Blair are my favorite trombonists, although I also like Ben van Dijk, Jorgen van Rijen, and others.

  • I wish I could like it several times. playing as high as a trumpet with great sound!

  • Mark Lawrence played a bordogni study? :P

  • @tromdude no, nocturne for horn and piano franz strauss

  • Has anyone noticed Alessi's shirt ?! hahah

  • Man, I wish I was there at that concert! Before I saw this video I only really knew of Joseph Alessi, but all of these four musicians are amazing!

  • what was the second piece that Joseph Alessi played?

  • It is 'Midnight' by Nicola Ferro. Mr. Alessi has recorded Daybreak and Sunset from the same set of four works depicting the stages of the Sun on his Return to Sorrento disc. The 4th piece is called Midday.

  • Joseph Alessi is so good! His sound in the upper register is what, in my opinion, separates him from so many others. He is the prime example of artistry, hands down!
