I haunt Good Will stores looking for old LP's with beautiful music like this. I record the LP's to CD"s. My stereo cleans things up and the results are wonderful. Listen to the background music on "How It's Made", "Factory Made", "American Chopper" and many similar programs. That's the garbage now being written and played. I use 'closed capationing' to hide from this crap.

I really can't think of one song this man set up the arrangements for that i did'nt like. I have several albums of his original recordings in my personal vinyl collection. Some of them being double album's. And even ever since i was a small child and heard my 1st recording by him. Hearing this music here and now still gives me that strong peace of mind feeling inside & makes me feel good to be alive. Thanx for a great post:):):):) loved it.

I agree fully. Percy Faith along with some others in his era worked hard, and used their talents to the fullest to produce the most beautiful music possible. They did that because they had an honest desire to please their audience. Do people making the music we hear today have that same goal?

It's opened my eyes to all genres of music from Art Tatum, to The Dramatics, to Al Green, and the list goes on. Point is, through making beats and sampling other artists' guitar riffs, and drum sounds, it gave me a whole new appreciation for all music
