There's something very minivan-ish about this truck. The back seat is unusually short and thick for a Benz. Looks like the seats of a 1980s Buick wagon. I prefer the usual tall, upright seats. They only make this for the American market, right? ... with that oversized three-pointed star on the grille. At that price, it may not be the V8, but nothing should be lower-end of the spectrum. Benz could build a dog house, put a star on it & Americans would pay $80,000 and, apparently, they know this.

@proteanview No, the GL isn't just in the US market. It's available all over Europe and the rest of the world. You clearly have poor taste if you can't tell the difference between an MB and the rest.

I don't blindly accept that anything MB does is tasteful (190e) because I'm discerning & have a mind of my own. all GL´s, ML´s (except diesels) and R´s are built in usa and mexico with rubbish subcontractors witch explains very poor quality. Alot better on german built cars.

@BrentKung89 most likely the BMW X5. That is going to be a bit more on the sporty end of the spectrum of these behemoths. Unless I planned to tow something regularily. Then no question, the Mercedes-Benz is the winner.
