  • does it work with an electric gutiar to

  • I play guitar and have for years, My wife is interested in learning to play but the problem is she is left handed.Do they make a left handed version of this? And also the guitar I want to get for her is an electric acoustic 12 string, do they make these for a 12 string?I would be grateful if you could answer back.

  • @tappakeggaday1 Yes we do make it for left handers, but its for 6 string guitar... Actually, I never tried it on a 12 string, but who knows? Thanks for your comment...

  • @davisezc

where can i get a left handed model??

i have searched to no avail :(

  • @tappakeggaday1 im left handed (i write, eat, ect left handed) but i learned the guitar right handed, its really the best option if your left handed, because it is your strongest hand, and you need that strength on the fret hand.

  • Thanks for your wonderful review, im wondering if this will work for my teen daughter who wants to learn, and then I maybe wont have to pay for a guitar teacher?! Thanks very much for your very good review, -S

  • @3greatgreyhounds3 Yes it works for all ages. Remember that it is not a free ticket though, it still requires practice. But nothing worth while isn't without a little work... Thanks for your nice comment...

  • cool stuff, i play bass and have been getting into playing acoustic so thnx mann, keep playing, gahhh you seeemm sooo passionate, kudos :D

  • cool

  • theres no easy way just a lot of practice.

  • @trixie10121 and for those of us that just want to play music but have arthritas it is a very cool device, and yes it has heklped me learn how to play real chords..sorry

  • @stevenbvr3 Chaz is a really cool guy who is trying to help us promote a neat little tool that is helping allot of people to play the guitar. Hey Chaz, you hang in there man. I think your doing just fine... Thanks...

  • @AstralJunkie Two positions? actually more like 24 positions...

  • @AstralJunkie for some people like myself that has arthritas but still wants to play for there own enjoyment it is really cool, am happy for you that you can form the bar chords, but you should respect the fact that not everyone is as blessed as you are.

  • Noob device.

  • how do u play that jazz tune u played at the end there? I've been meaning to learn that for months. Do u have a tab for it that I could see?

  • @Steelpokemaster Thanks man.

  • Hey man nice work on the song. And nice review. I think I'm past the point of finding much use in the EZ Chord for myself, but when I teach, this may be a very useful tool. Good Find!

  • Is this a plastic barre chord?

    Shortcuts -.-

  • @Passthepie Yes it is. and your right. It has helped allot of people play who have struggled with the guitar.

  • This is excellent!! Is there one like this for the Ukulele?? I'd really like to get one!

  • @CadjinGisclair Thanks man...

  • this is a really cool tool .If some one they missed a couples of finger .they still can play .good stuff .

  • @majical2888 Yea, I have arthritis. and it helps allot. My dad was missing a finger and couldn't play anymore. Thats how I got the idea. Thanks...

  • that's actually kinda cool.

  • @Valentizzle Thanks...

  • I don't know if I agree with the notoriously-hard part... Guitar is known as one of the easiest of the "real" instruments to play (whistles, etc aside), I'd say, judging by the number of never-had-a-lesson people who manage to do just fine on it. It does take practice but let's not get ahead of ourselves - guitar is not difficult to learn like, say, violin or cello. Anybody who's note tone-deaf and devotes a month to guitar can play one enough to get by, with or without this device.

  • So, what are you trying to say.... would you recommend this to everyone or just toooo....., who are like you?

  • Thanks for the intelligent review. Please check out my new songs posted on "davisezc" on youtube. The songs and many more, are full symphony pieces, written and composed with my EZ Chord. I invented the "Chord" as a composition tool for people like myself, who have music in their head, but never played an instrument. The music is real and it's 100% original. All my friends laugh and say "what the hell is that", "Idon't know", and I say "neither do I".

  • @davemuscato your stupid guitar is hard

    just like anyother instrument ,how

    do you determine hard ??

  • Yes, it has been pretty hard for me. I have arthritis you know. But I am playing with a really good group of professionals. It has helped me. All of our stuff is completely original. And so how many original songs have you written? Let's hear it... Peace out...

  • I know I'm replying to a week old comment but a month? Your kidding right? People usually suck badly at 1 month of playing

  • @Kingddd333 yeah the ez chord made me more cofortable with the guitar and thus able to learn the real chords much easier.

  • lmao he in Alaska wearing a hawiian shirt..

  • we all need to feel like we can live dude...get up there and be isolated like him.... hell.... he's having the time of his life....rock on dude!!!

  • what the hell did I just watch?

  • maybe you need to watch again....dude

  • what is it just an automatic powerchord thing or something?

  • @timhx1138 no, its just a learning aid to help people get comfortable learning to play guitar, it has helped me alot

  • i think its an automatic bar chord not power chord. Otherwise he could only strum 3. but yeah wack lol

  • give it a try....what ya got ta gain....everything!!!!

  • right on chief.

  • I'm have this for a lessons making much practice very hard and making me to have many times to play in front of the kitchen

  • Not much else to do in the winter hu? Your song sounds very Donovan Im in the lower 48 with the wife who is from Chugach enjoyed the vid bro

  • Much thanks

  • The guitar is just one instrument of 17 different instruments used in the song: "Essence of Kennedy", written and composed with the Davis EZ Chord (posted on davisezc). I am playing electric guitar with a compliment of horns, violins, cellos, piano, drums, bass and other effects of our band: "The Davis & Leonard Symphony". My disability has not stopped me from playing, thanks to the EZ Chord. Check out our symphony. We are posting much more. Everything from simple rock to a space odyssey.

  • seems to me that a gadget like this severely limits your songwriting. 23 chords?! Sure, thousands of songs have been written with just major and minor barre chords... but seriously, i couldn't imagine writing songs without 2nds, 4ths. 6ths. 7ths, 9ths, ect... plus, you can only play one voicing as long as you have that thing strapped to your hand...

cool toy if you just want to goof around on the guitar, but if you want to take music seriously... there are no shortcuts

  • great practice tool for an acoustic. get an electric. much easier to play haha

  • lol you need to watch this with Transcribe Audio on,

It comes up with some hilarious shit.

  • lmao your right, its fricken hilarious that things a joke

  • holy god, i thank you x100000. When he started talking about the group of teenagers it said "McCain, mormons want to uh checkup disease in court." lmfao, i love transcribe audio"

  • rofl

  • personally i think this is a cheap way to sound good

  • agreed its for people who dont want to work there fingers as much -.-

  • @fozzyogoody Thanks... It really is a cheap way to sound good... Thanks again...

  • dude awesome!!

  • Thanks!

  • wanna marry me?

  • Who.......

  • What I was trying to say was, yes. It is a neat and innovative tool. I was making the argument that you should learn to play guitar the real way. Don't call your self a guitarist if your using this thing to play. There is no real playing in it.

  • Ya missed the point. This is something that can bring music back into people's lives. Ya just gotta love the fact that some one can come up with this. It's made alot of people happy. No one has called themselves a guitarist. It's all about doing what you can for others. Thanks to those who are gifted to do so.......AMEN

  • I'm not trying to argue. And I see the point in it clearly. It is a very neat tool. I will probably get one myself :D I'm just saying. Its not a very constructive learning tool. No hard feelings or anything. I'm just kind of putting a warning into this. It doesn't teach you how to play. Its just a fun and easy way to make music :) Nothing wrong with that.

  • KOOL Dude!!!

  • Luv it dude....you totality rock!!!

  • Dude, it is awesome that you are playing, and more awesome you are bringing it to others. Keep it up and God bless you. The world needs more people bringing it music.

  • you are so cool dude!!! Thanks!!

  • lol i looked this up it's just playing an e form barre chord>:3 you may as well play a power chord, it's probably just as easy as this slide thing

  • what ever brings the music on!! Thanks dude.........Your so cool.

  • can I play like engwie J malmsteen with it?

  • Do what ya whata ...dude. Thanks!!!!

  • That device is pretty awesome. I have short fingers and carpel tunnel in both hands and it has really let me be able to play the guitar. I think playing music no matter if you use this device or not you are still a guitarist

  • Thanks!!! You are right.

  • Sorry but I'm with Wtsmyageagain.

  • ?whaata dude. Thanks anyway!

  • there are way more chords than they showed on the back of that book...

  • you got that right dude!!!!! It's so cool.

  • You know, no offense man, but this device isn't making you any better at guitar. If your goal is to have fun playing simple songs and to just doodle on it, by all means go ahead. But I hope you aren't calling yourself a guitarist, because this device is doing all of the work. The barre chord is one of the first thing a novice learns.

You're better off just practicing and getting better with your real fingers, man.

  • Exactly man.

  • Learn what is going on around you before you agree......but thanks!!!!

  • @Wtsmyageagain You know no offense man, but you are being kind of a total judgmental d-bag aren't you? . Anything that helps someone play some music is awesome. There are tons of people who used to play but no longer can b/c of injury, MS, carpal, arthritis, stroke whatever - who this will help. And there are tons of people this will encourage to try. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord - he is sincere and he's bringing music to others. What have YOU done lately to make a better place?

  • Amen dude!!!! Thanks. You see the point.

  • Comment removed

  • @moucon Whoa, did I not say I endorse him playing simple songs and to just have fun with it? I never once bagged on the people who have the physical disabilities you listed, and quite frankly what I do to make the world a better place is completely and utterly irrelevant..

  • Ya miss the point dude....It's all about helping out others who have trouble figuring it out. Some just need to know how to get started. Not all is gifted!!! Some know how to play , but like they use to. And guess what.........now they can regardless.

  • Ya miss the point. You will. It's a teaching device.

  • You missed the point. It's about helping out anybody who has a problem of picking it up or for those who use to play but can't because of a missing fingure or arthritis. In time everyone will be able to play with out the teaching tool. It just gets you into it. Thanks for comments!

  • awesome!!! keep it up!

  • Thanks!!!

  • That is pretty cool i'll look in to that

  • You need to. What do ya got ta lose. It's a money back guarantee.

  • aewsome

  • Ya got that right!!!!!!!
