@Barbeeluvable No issues, it just takes practice. =3 Though from your problem, it sounds like you take too large sections of hair when you're braiding, try taking smaller bits and that should help you out.

Excellent tutorial ... camera angle, clarity, etc. And thanks so so much for showing how to corn row and sew up the ends. I usually get individual tied zillion braids with tree braiding in the front, but I think I'm in love with the crochet technique (never used a crochet hook in my life but it looks pretty simple, thanks in part to the tutorials on YouTube for crochet brains. Again thank you, thank you ... this will save me close to $200 by doing my own hair.

if u wanna try to do this again you should buy a latch hook its waaaay easier to use and its for just that purpose....its pink and green usually

I.Yes,you DID do your research. 2.Creative cornrow pattern. More flexible than traditional front to back. 3. Better coverage of hair line. No inch long exposed rows! Great solution!

QUESTION:

1. Would you suggest adding fake hair to cornrows to better protect our natural hair from the tugging and tying? 2. Would you use smaller cornrows next time? 3. Did the hair matte or tangle? How long after? 4. Is the hair split in equal lengths B4 it's tied? 5. What will you do differently next time?

It's really helpful to some of us. I tried crochedf braids before and it like, did nooooot work out, i had to take them out the next day bc i couldnt "close" it. Like, I just couldnt fill in/ hide my cornrolls when i followed this one (bad) tutorial so thank you.

so funny how our base braid style is good enough for a regular hair style. Only thing is you know I have trouble braiding my whole head in that small of braids cuz it gets so thick near the middle on to the back.
