  • It would be a successful idea... However, I don't necessarily like what it's doing for kids.

  • @ChrisCatesCC Perhaps you don't understand the full concept. Look For Loneliness helps children understand about bullying. It teaches them how to deal with a bully, how to stop bullying and how to reach out for help if they are a bully themselves. Surely this cannot be harmful to children?

  • WTF they had this exact idea in my school way before this, they had they all of it with the post for lonely kids to go. Don't you just hate it when people steal ideas and try and pass them off as their own! Shame on him.

  • @marcusleonswadling I think you have perhaps not understood the pitch correctly. It is NOT a post to stand by as this is humiliating. It is a sign to remind children to look for loneliness. James didn't pinch ideas. He spent many hours writing 16 books which were not stolen. This is a unique product now selling universally. Thank you for your post and for a better understanding of the product visit the website.

  • Those 3 who incouraged him but at the end didn't invest are hipocrats.

  • Aww. I think one or two of the dragons were about to cry!

  • I've seen the website for this and I desperately wish there was something like this in the US.

Having been bullied all my life I now have a little sister who turns eight this November. And it hurts knowing that she's going through bullying and I, an adult, cannot do anything about it without possibly winding up in prison. With suicides from bullying on the rise in the US, I really think this would be a great program for American schools as well.

  • @NateSean Hi James here - I'd love my products to help in the US. I'll gladly ship to you if you can find a school to buy from the web site. Not sure of shipping costs but I'll keep the prices as low as I can to help over there.

  • what a smart kid

  • hahahah shot down duncan lol

  • James is a fantastic young man. Great, confident pitch. Bet he goes far in life.

  • What an excellent pitch. Glad to see the creativity from this lil kid...

  • man, what a nice little guy. I felt really sorry for him there... good he got the cash!

  • :D gr8

  • think its takes such courrage for a kid to come on this show against the dragons, i think hes brave and should be comended for trying to make a difference to thw world

  • I would have invested tbh. More likely to have better business if your known as a charitable person from a famous show like Dragons Den.

  • woop, well done james

  • what an angel, I hope society doesn't change that :S

  • Brilliant James and Duncan :) The idea may not be great, but the objective is fantastic. By encouraging this kid and then others to put focus on social awareness is what it¨s about. We all know this isn´t a business, but this investment just might encourage this kid to do more good in the future. James and Duncan, you have brains as well as hearts ;)

  • Duncan is more of a softie than what is normally seen on Dragon's Den.

  • All the dragon's could have given 1000 pounds and it wouldn't have affected any of their wallets!

  • Fantastic.

  • The kids pitch was far better than 90% of the business ideas put forward by adults on the show. He delivered it with such confidence aswell. A future entrepreneur for sure

  • yeah,absolutely...now despite the handicap of red hair i think he has done remarkably well!!

  • he thought that taking both dragons is the same as taking one...so he picked at random

  • feelings for entrepreneurs are not so good. Wow.. That investor got played bye a " KID "

  • Hehe... Cute, but a terrible idea.

  • Applause, applause!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!U rock kid keep it up your a prodigy!!! I believe this product has merit! Good luck!!!

  • I was expecting them to ask: 'What was your total revenue last year? Give me hard facts and figures! How much of your own money have you invested in this?'

  • go james go james go james you rock ive known this kid for 7 or more years so dont diss im hes the nicest gye eva

  • Will he invest all the money he makes as a kid and become a multi-billionaire by the time he graduates school?

  • well said

  • well said

  • everyone shud show this kid some respect....how thoughtful and kind he is

  • HA ha ha- I LOVE this kid. Bless him. it's the way he's rehearsed the pitch so many times. I think he's hilarious- he's been on TV since- a total star. J

  • Great answer by a 9 year old at the end to duncan's question...id never have come up with a reply like that if put on the spot...well done!!!!

  • I spend my fucking childhood in loneliness. And now I am in my teen years-and my fucking life will continue to be lonely forever,

  • I had a horrific childhood myself. Not something I'm going into on a public site like this, but I can tell you that there is hope. Speak with a therapist/pyschologist. They can help (the good ones do anyway). Things will only get better if you make the effort to change your way of thinking and your environment. I know that's hard, but what have you got to lose?

  • Loneliness is a state of mind, nothing more. If you were lonely as a child and are now a teenager still feeling lonely, then it's something you're doing. Don't blame society, parents or other people. Fact is, if you don't go out and socialize, you'll be lonely.

  • It is not that easy. If it were, we wouldn't have depression in our society. Socialising can be daunting for some, and the benefits are not always clear. It is difficult to put so much effort into something as hard (for some) as socialising without there being any clear benefits. Galanoth9, there are many others like you...you are not alone.

  • @tonymasons Just to let you know, for some of us (like me), socializing more than just talking every so often is outright terrifying! Mind you, I'm a loner, so it helps. I don't feel lonely because I gave up trying to socialize properly ages ago.

  • @DeepCosmos that is the biggest pile of intolerable shite i have ever heard, you miserable self righteous arse hole!

  • @DeepCosmos Sometimes for some people (like me) socializing beyond talking every once in a while is outright terrifying! It's nice to have someone just come up to you and talk.

  • galanoth9 I'm a loner too and will be til I dissolve into the soil. A lonely childhood is hell and can only spiral into adulthood unless someone steps in

  • How cool for a 9 year old to be so thoughtful and come up with that idea. His Mammy must be so proud

  • the only problem is i know that wen i was at primary school if we had one of them signs it might aswell have said ' come and pick on me because i have no friends'!

  • i could've taken him home and eaten im up hes sooo cute :D and teh way he says, not the trophies or the stickers, good for him! he has more business sense than the dragons! :D

  • aww hes cute- and the way he said "do you have any questions?" wow i would have been so scared he did a great job!!

  • What an angelic young lad ... well done on getting the investment!!

  • one commet so bad

  • Oh, there were two more comments that I deleted as the poster was an idiot. :-)

  • haha how cute.
