- Going to get expensive gas at popular stop when cheaper alternatives are available.

- Ordering large pepperoni pizzas at other pizza chains instead of Little Caesar (cost $5 at LC).

- Installing HD cables and digital services when you could had watch your favorites tv shows & movies online via Hulu or other websites.

- Not canceling house phone when you got a cellphone.

- Buying an Xbox 360 and got RROD 3 months later when you could had got a PS3.

Just a heads up on an often missed skin care item. Shea butter, natural and unrefined, is incredibly cheap if you buy it online. You can use that straight for skin care or buy some essential oils to loosen it up and add some scent to it. The oil is pricey but a five dollar bottle will last you well over a year.

Girl. after my gym contract expired I left it alone and never look back. I'm losing weight doing cardio and riding my stationary bike at home.

Now, buying in trial and error is something I'm learning to cope. I even used products that I somewhat like and know I won;t buy again.

A theory I learned from lending money is to actually give it from the heart. That way you wont expect anything back and can still keep animosity out of the relationship. If you feel like you can't give from the heart, don't give.

I lent a "friend" money and never got it back. The bad news is that when she asked she said it was an emergency so I actually had to borrow the money I gave her. Needless to say I had to repay the person who lent me the money but as I said my own friend never gave it back to me. Afterwards she acted like it was nothing and the whole thing was already forgotten. Grrrrr

Yes! Lending money is the fastest way to waste it. I follow the Judge-Judy method which says that if an associate is asking YOU for money it means she already burned her family & close friends. But you forgot to mention GAMBLING. I always ask people who gamble how much are they going to bet and then ask them for half of that money. When they say no. I say, "Why not? You are about to give all of it to someone you don't know, at least you know I will put it to good use."

Most of people asking for money to lend, never actually hva ethe ability to pay you back becasue they never have any money so they are stuck asking others for it. Blockbuster is THE WORSE I repeat, THE WORSE place to rent and buy movies. All of their movies are skipping, have scratches, small selection, WAY to pricey when it comes to renting. Hollywood video is THE place to-go when it comes to renting movies. They have such a hugh selection! You can also find very old movies there at low prices

It's a windfall for gyms to sign up people for yearly memberships, because they know they can overload their memberships, because (NEWS FLASH) MOST people quit after a month or so, but are still obligated to pay it out.

Better to get your workout at home, and walking/running in your neighbourhood and local track, enjoy the fresh air, and save money.

A good saying is "neither a lender nor a borrower be", however we all have to face that at some point. A rule of thumb we go by is to not lend money to anyone unless we are prepared to call it a loss or just realize it may not be returned.

Another waste people don't realize is leaving gaming systems on over night for weeks on end. An Xbox left on over night is the equivelant of running 2.5 refrigerators! Yikes! That's energy & money waste.
