I have a silly question about the MK22. I own one and i can not find anyone that makes the magazines for it. Can you use any 22LR AR style magazine for it? Like the 22LR mags made for 2LR M4 style rifles? Or do you know where I can find extra mags for this rifle?
i am seriously giving some thought in buying this as my first firearm, since im on a pretty tight budget and a rifle would be a pretty nice to get rather than a 500$ pistol, anyone have any suggestions on anything 1,00$ and under, nothing fancy, just something that good quality for the price,im sure theres someone out who might even think of one firearm out there with this description.
The ISSC rifle is not worth buying. I have had numerous issues with the gun, mostly soft firing pin hits (yes I have tried the fix on youtube). Parts are not available and the original distributor is GONE. So parts are hard to find, if you can.
I gota admit its a great looking gun, but you are better off going with a name brand. No offense guy but just telling what my experience was, and still is. I have 5 .22lr guns, I can hoestly say this has give me the most issues/problems.
picked an Issc mk22 up the other day, went out put about 160 rounds of blazer and had 12 jams! I have never owned a gun that jams like this. any ideas on what the deal is?
that thing field strip like a military rifle or do you need tools like a civilian rifle? If it all comes apart with a bullet and nothing more im a happy camper
I have read a lot of reviews saying that it has problems with cracking on the stock, care to comment because I was looking at purchasing one but if the stock is junk then it may change my mind.
The company did have a bad batch of stocks in one of the first production runs. According to Mike Wisener, the owner of ISSC, this issued has been resolved. I can say from a retailers stand point, I have not had any problems or replaced any stocks in the last 3 months, and we have sold approx 60 mk22's in the last 3 months.
Thanks for letting everyone know that you know jackshit about what you're talking about... A clip is not slang for a magazine. They are two completely different things. Go back to call of duty
just had to comment....great job on the video, not many other reviewers out there like this, you covered what people want to know, and had a very honest and professional standpoint... keep em coming
Damn, they make it 300 miles away from my hometown and they still aren't available here in Italy... i want one so badly... nice review, very well made.
Thanks for the great review you made up my mind. just had one ordered got rail covers and a 5 position foregrip waiting for it. 22's are fun and cheap to shoot!
I bet if you cleaned and oiled that bad boy b4 hand it would run like a champ. Im gonna trade my gsg5 pk for one of these. brand new still in the box origanal (">)
Great looking gun and all but I'll stick with my rock solid reliable Sig 522. Have over 7000 rounds in it and never a jam. Haven't cleaned it in over 1500 rounds. It just keeps on chugging.
Thanks I've been waiting for someone to put up a review of the scar 22, I'm thinking about getting one. So how does it compare to other tactical 22s like sig 522, s&w22 and the gsg mp5s? What's the threading of the barrel anyway.
