@ilovemymum777 No...you are wrong. Even if the Glass Stegal Act is reestablished...it won't create jobs. The ONLY thing that will and can create jobs is the release of new technology. Free energy devices, new propulsion technologies etc... In the early 90's we had a dip in the economy and then suddenly the Computer age boomed along with the internet, software etc...

Only when people have money to spend...then all others can prosper. Remove MONEY, Then we will Prosper for ever!

@younitehumanity agreed I think we need a new change in the Monitory system and now is the time for all Nations across the globe to put there petty differences behind them and start working together as one, after all we are all human well at lest I hope most of us are lol. this is crisis that has been happening for sometime now and the riots in the mid east just recently is not for sure helping the situation I recommend new leadership is in order someone wise and strong, it needs to change now.

"Patchwork" on a failed economic monetary system only allows temporary relief for the majority of world citizenry. These representatives on this discussion panel only consider patchwork solutions keeping established institutions of power in place.

The denial is that the patchwork is even detrimental to aristocracy as well in the long run as well.

A resource based economy is based on applying the scientific method to our social and economic design, which has never been done before.

The entire economy is a sham. This is what everyone is basically admitting. They're just trying to figure out how best to fool the populace into believing that isn't true, and that it's worthwhile to continue working our asses off for the benefit of the aristocrats. I say, we need another french revolution. Take down the oligarchy.

@Ranger4564 If you mean revolution in regard to war, that is not the answer as it is the most lucrative "profitable" action in this nonscientific economic system based on a folkway method of resource distribution on this planet, and it is at the expense of the worlds people.

It's time to implement a non-plutocratic system, A resource based economy where ALL people benefit and there is no hierarchy at the helm, which is not conducive to all of well being on this planet.

@blaziermissy If you read any of my other writings on this site, or if you go to my page and look at the videos I liked, you'll see that my proposition is to create a communist system based on automation and surplus, with progress and innovation as part of the ideals society aims towards. Stagnation or regression are failed ideologies. By revolution, I simply mean dethroning those in power who are cheating and lying to us. It is not a war, it is an overthrow.

@Ranger4564 While I agree with your stance and assessment, a communist system is still advocating a spin off of the monetary system, which lends to the corruption and behavior that we wish to erradicate. No hierarchy or social stratification and by all means, no more fiat currency.

@Ranger4564 The French Revolution was a bit of a bust. They ended up with a dictatorship and a lot of blood. What we need is informed people, us, to run things. Sort of a participatory democracy where everyone is involved in the governing. The Venus Project is the closest I've seen, but it needs a lot of work and that means a lot of people to write it up. You might like the charter city idea on Ted that has been so successful in China. That model would work with Jacques view, for instance.

@hbar1212 Oh, lovely, a thinking person! Yes, we need to wake up and wise up or we won't make it as individuals nor societies. Giving too much power to authority is a very bad idea. On the other hand, the truth is that many people are either under-informed, mis-informed, or just plain ignorant on a genetic level. Either way, we need to go global but we need to protect individual rights at the same time. This requires more finesse than placard-sized slogans.
