What is the name of the song that plays?? I've been trying to find it for months! I heard it once many years ago, and came across it again in your video.
Thanks for your kind words. The videos seem to only convey such a small part of how amazing it actually is to visit these places. My guess is that you've been to Africa and these videos triggered some memories. Which, in itself, is a huge complement. Thanks.
A beautiful video of a beautiful country, Ladysmith Black Mambazo set off the amazing visions of Africa perfectly. Thankyou, watching this brings back so many family memories that bring a smile to my face, and a light to me heart.
Thanks. We're going back to Africa this month so I'll try to post some more video by the end of the month. This time we are going to East Africa including seeing the mountain gorillas so it will hopefully yeild some good footage. Providing a silver back ape doesn't smash my camera over my head.
Good job, nice editing, and great choice of music.
What kind of video camera and editing software did you use? And was this near Pete's Pond in Botswana, by any chance? I've been thinking about going there.
Thanks for your comment. I used the panasonic DVX100A and Final Cut Pro. They have come out with a high-definition version recently (the HVX) but, unfortunately it is out of my budget right now. I think Pete's Pond is in southern Botswana while the Okavango Delta is in the north. I highly recommend you go as it was, by far, the greatest place I've been in my life.
wonderful, amazing video. this is pure Mal d'Afrique.
may i ask you whose's the music? thank you for posting!

This one is my favorite of your Africa Travelogues, Tim, although they are all worth watching...more than once.
