After being begged and offered 60 dollars by a friend of mine i agreed to let him test his c2 on me and i got to say oh shit! Your inability to move while experiencing body wide pain is fucking terrible i wouldn't do it again
Down here ( In Australia) People arent allowed to carry anything like a taser or pepper spray, we have even had new laws introduced that knife blades are illegeal to. I seen to get by though with my Gerber Bear Grylls compact multi-tool but it wouldnt help in a self defense situation, Any suggestions
real world suggestion would be form a protest get a bunch of citizens together vote those piece of shit lawmakers out of office then elect somebody who will pass pro self defense legislation.
do they make a picatinny rail mounted taser? i think that would be extremely useful, being able to have the lethality and intimidation of a firearm working together with the non-lethality and usefulness of a taser.
@HippieHunta There is, believe it or not. The Taser X26 does have a rail-mount accessory that allows it to attach to a rail. Course, theres also the Taser XREP shotgun cartridge, course, i do believe those are only available to LE.
And there in lies the problem. People are way to worried about hurting sub human slime. Every cop I know still longs for the "stop or I'll shoot rule back in place."
If one douche bag bled out the word would spread..............
I guess I'm old school. I never did see the problem with taking out the trash. Neither did the Israelis until the UN stuck their noses in.
Good review. Something people should think about is when it comes to using lethal force, you have 5 or so seconds to decide, and it will be broken down for months in court, and if you are not PROPERLY trained on the use of force model (LEO, MIL, ect) you have a high chance of wrongly discharging your firearm based on the laws in place in our country. Non lethal force... VERY small chance of being criminally charged when being used in self defense.
@glock19x300 police use tasers alot so the chance of being criminally charged is next to none, unless you can't provide a reason as to why you fired it. a few people have been robbed at taser point and the taser wielders get a extremely harsh sentence, but if you fire one defensively, it gets sorted in a few hours or less.
@jimmyhoffa9 Yea pretty much exactly what I said lol. Just because police use something doesn't mean a thing... in the USAF I was trained on the M240B that doesn't mean I can carry one. Everyone should just study the use of force model and understand everything that goes with it, including the laws that back it. Once your knowledge is complete and your competent in training and implementing that knowledge then you will never be wrongfully charged... in a perfect world.
@deathfromabove555 Lol yea and when your in court and the judge reviews the police report and finds that you were carrying brass knuckles... good job defending your case from there.
I like the Israeli approach. A 22lr to the thigh. No probes to fail. And you have more shots if you need them. You won't die but it will ruin your day for sure.
@bluerazors if you hit the femoral artery in the thigh they could bleed out FAST = death. A 22lr can be a very lethal round in many cases. It is by no means a pellet gun.
Is the C2 more effective than a lot of other tasers? I see videos on youtube of people getting tasered, and they stand and still attack an officer. I wonder if in these videos they weren't taser that used implemented NMI
people in the police force that are outfitted with the taser have to get shot with them so they know how well they work so that there are no doubts within the crew
I did the class, for reasons I to this day do not quite understand, and volunteered to get shot with the device. I was shot with an x-26, which only has the 5 second "ride" (as in you bought the ticket, now you get the ride) and just...yeah. It made me a believer. I would definitely join Nutn in advocating this in front of a gun.
They need to make it so you can pop the cartridge without touching it. If you leave it there then they have it and can buy cartridges for it. The cops usually only show up till after the fact and by then you'll be far away from where the incident happened. id rather subdue the attacker wait till they're down, disengage the cartridge and run. Then you can just reload it. Nice overall though
@litematter I don't know if they still do this, but when my dad but his tazer, wasn't the c2 but it was one with cartridges. I think it was the xd-15 or something, same as police except the civilian 15 foot version. Anyways, they said they would replace the gun in case of emergency like you mentioned. They don't expect you to sit there the whole time with a subdued suspect.
Nutnfancy, i wanna know your opinion between lethal and non lethal self defense? i have been around knives my entire life, but i also own a stungun. my fear is that a knife will always "hit the target", but a stungun need to be activated by a button. i figure if i have to be close ranged either way, would a knife be a "more effective" option? or do YOU feel the stungun is a better option?(this is ~5mil v stungun)
Thank you very much for this review. It is great to see a non biased and very informative review of less lethal options. I also watched Brotherskeepers review and it was excellent as well. I have the First Defense OC and the X26C and C2 Taser. I had been carrying the OC more simply because its smaller. However after watching this I am going to make the C2 my EDC less lethal tool. I also have the Kubotan on my keys. Thanks for the review.
yeah ok, FORGET my last question, i found enough references on CA laws. and im gonna get some stun guns next month or so. i work late and dont get out til 10pm or later (at times) and sometimes have to walk pretty far from our dark street.
@Kliffton415 If barbs embed into the jacket material, it'll work. The barbed tips can be set 2 inches away from the bare skin and the perp will be going down (assuming both barbs set into the clothing are a good distance apart). . . . distances greater than 15 feet begin to take away the "landing" accuracy. 10-15 feet is optimal. If the perp is 20+ feet away, "ANNOUNCE" you "have a taser". If he closes on you, the trigger door is open and thumb is on the trigger. Nutnfancy, what say you?
i fully support a persons right to carry, i carry a SW 642 and a glock 22. btw great video on a trigger job on the 638. But labeling a weapon less than lethal when it is the exact oppisite is just to dangerous. anyone who carries one of these tasers or stun guns needs to have a permit just like anyone carry a concealed weapon. i know that if i was hit by one while having a seizure, i would atleast be severely be screwed up for the rest of my life. not to mention a good case for a lawyer.
you must be extremely careful with these devices. they can be extremely lethal! I'm epeliptic and have a vagal nervous system, a pace maker for the brain basically. i have seizures, complex partial, that make me look like i'm drunk and i cant respond, sometimes for upto 2 hours. i've been in handcuffs before until i blew in the breath a lizer. several people with my condition have been shocked when they "didnt comply" and where killed or condition worsened. these devices arent "cool".
I bought a C2 for my girlfriend for Christmas. She loves it. This review helped seal the deal on the decision. Cool gift idea for someone who doesn’t carry a pistol. Thanks.
btw, it is well known in my cereals that my right eye is coursed. i could give 20ex right off the top of my head; to save time here is one. I had just bought some cold steel inferno, I noticed to button cover, I decided to find out if there were a way to actuate the button with the cover down..........Only got one drop, shout me down for 20 seconds. If a full blast were to hit idk how to fight threw that; And I am extremely pain tolerant .PS "ouch"
Hey Nutn,,,,I heard that when your target (Bad Guy) is being tased you can touch him (Had cuffs or restraints) and you wouyld not be shocked. Your thoughts please.... thanks
I like the point you made about tazers beeing equalizers. So true! When I see girls getting bullied I always think they should have a tazer. I usually don't feel I can intervene physically because it's hard for me to analyze the situation correctly, and because I have trained martial arts for 10 years I do not take such decisions lightly.
Nutn, what do you think about carrying a Taser while hiking in place of bear spray? You don't have to worry about wind -- at least as much. It's often windy up there, and this can be a big draw back to bear spray. It's relatively light and probably comparable in weight to a canister of bear mace. I've heard that the more muscle mass you have, the more impact the Taser has. I've never heard anyone consider the Taser for this use. I love hiking, but very concerned about bears and cougars!!!
@scargill8 Legally "self defense" is a tricky thing to prove. Unless they're in your home, generally hurting someone is a thing that'll depend case to case. If you shoot a man you can end up accidentally killing him, which in my opinion is a big risk to take, as self defense is EXTREMELY hard to prove when the person you shot is dead.
how is taser technology cheaper its like 400$ still for a taser at least on there sight. id rater buy some pepper spray if i was going to leave it on the ground and run
@krispy022 If you buy from pfi dude's site and use the nutn discount code it comes out to be around $250, not including a holster or additional cartridges. Also, as stated in the video, if you use it in a self defense situation and you call the police and a report is filed taser will replace your C2 for free.
@bigmurph28 didnt get to that part thanks for the information i got about half way then the video started to lag so i just shut it off. anyways thats not to bad for a price still a good chunk of change at least they will replace it if you have to use it
By law, I think I can get away with carrying a small folding pocket knife....maybe....I love my country (Canada) but man unless you're you're breaking the law (by having a weapon on you) or a Cop we are basically unarmed
Great review. So often over looked by people who are serious about self defense, is the less then lethel items that can be deployed when lethel force is not called for.
Nice piece of equipment. They're still a little expensive for this user. Hopefully the price and size will take one more step downward at some point, and I'll be able to build one into my system.
amusing factoid: if i were caught carrying ANY of the items visible in this video (aside from a pair of hands) id be arrested and probably face jailtime. (UK)
does it matter that violent crime in my country is on the rise, or that we are a supposedly "free" people? not to a politician.
im a buddhist, and the last thing on earth id want to do is hurt any living thing, but if someone tries to mug me, id rather be in court for Tasering the swine than in hospital with a knife wound.
really wish i could legally have on of these in canada. funny. we can have pistols, but not tasers... go figure. that's what you get when you have govt. snorting coke
I may look into the local laws on carrying one of these on a college campus here in illinois. no conceal carry here. would be a conciencious objector but at my age risk is outweighed by bennefits. Huge believer in your gun free death pay video. all us country boys on campus carry our blades and dont get hassled so thats a good thing. ps Western Illinois University has has 6 bomb threats in the past month about. it is rediculous
i already used my pepper spray 2 times, to test if its still working, hold it as much away from me as possible, and sprayed: it hurt me, and not the wall
Really liked this video, it was a bit different seeing nutn do an interview on something that wasn't a gun or a knife but still to the point none the less. TNP forever!
hey nutn youre in the service right? im jw out of curiosity, what rank are you? and how are you able to make your vids so often? i understand being vague because of the threats and stuff but you have such a huge audience now i feel like we have no idea who you are. if you dont want to elaborate thats ok but i really want to know more about you, you seem like an awesome guy!
@garrettzkool63 Threats? Really? WOW! People are FUCKING STUPID!!! Can't someone go online and provide useful information without having people threaten them harm? Those kind of people would not talk the same way to anybody's face.
@tubevideoguy762 yeah man its a shame. idk why nutn takes em seriously because he hasnt insulted anyone specifically that ive seen so any threat to him will be dry. i wish i could meet nutn and do some gun runs with him. AT LEAST WE WANT TO KNOW YOUR NAME!
We used aligator clips for our training to see what a 3 to 5 second ride was like. Other Departments use the actual probes. In training the the bigger the were the harder they fell.
I'm trained on the X-26 and I can tell you the technology works really well. The more muscular the adversary is the harder he's going down. Total Muscle Locskup.
I've been looking at the C2 which is at around $300 dollars in my area. This would be a really good tool for people who won't consider a gun. The modern Tazer is the best game going in non lethal at the moment. I prefer the tazer of OC spray for sure.
Eastcoastgunsales . com has the C2 taser for $235 !
Nutnfancy you are always mentioning value so I wanted to plug this in for subscribers and also hopefully PFI will consider the competition.
C2 is shown on the homepage. Peace! Excellent review btw.. you are what made me even consider this option and I happened to stumble across ECGS. Peace
is that light/laser combo the possible impact points? the laser being the barb that shoots straight and then the light where the second barb will most likely hit????
@gregos350 Uhh.. Well... Lemme try this. The laser is not there to show you where the barb/s hits. The laser dot helps you aim for the center of the "target", thus making it easyer to aim the C2. Without the laser dot, you would be blindly firing the taser at mr baddie. It's like firing a handgun without using sights, you wouldn't know where your shot will go.
@atreyuthegreat ... Well yes that would be cool, but impractical. The "cone of fire" that the taser barbs fire at is pretty constant, but the actual location the barb/s hits is complete random.
@Trigunnie45 I didnt mean that the laser would show were the probes will hit thats very unpredictable, i meant it as maybe a way of telling if you might hit the target, lets say you think your out of range and might hesitate to shoot because you might not be sure that both probes will hit or even get close a laser does help but not much, i know it wouldnt happen but its just something to think about
@atreyuthegreat Ah, I see what you mean now. =] You mean that the lasers would just help you gauge distance from mr bad guy. exe, the closer you are to your target the closer the laser dots would be, and visa versa. Correct?
dude, what a DOUCHE! (the douchy guy, not nutn!) i come to see another awesome vid, and see this f*cker trolling like no tomorrow. WOW dude....are you serious? if you don't like a vid, move on! you don't need to waste our time, dude. so fuck off. thanks. keep doing what you do, nutn. IM GETTIN MAH FIRST SIG SOON!!! sig p226 9mm :D
I wouldn't call tasers completely non-lethal. Although the Taser is a programmable device, the controlling software does not limit the number of the bursts of pulses and the time between bursts while the trigger is held down continuously, or the number of times the shock cycles can be repeated. Thus the design does not adequately reduce the likelihood that the victim's heart enters into a deadly ventricular fibrillation.
hey just ignore the idots. by relpying to their idocracy it is just giving them the power. and they get off on that effect. so just as long as u know that you are in the right thats all that should matter. and if any moron decides to do anything in the real world that puts you or your loved ones in danger put the threat down with extreme prejudice!
WOW ! Awesome review ! I do have a question.Do they offer inexpensive practice cartidges that shoot without the electirc charge.Along with my purchase of the C2 or anyother taser like this,I'd want to practice on a full size cardboard silhouette.I'm sure the reg. cartridges are not cheap,so it would be nice if they offered affordable practice cartidges.Thanx,Demmylowther
its grate if you have 1 bed dude, 30 sekonds do its thing. but what if others hu with him standing arount and wayt unteel youre batary go bye? sreys ar cheeper and you can carry 4 of this in my coungry i can carry gas pistol and carry a lot of magazins with 2 tipes of gas and blank amo! but yes taser grate insite a buildings or some wher like thet!
@chiodarelli See ya. And for the record is what you did here is grandstand on the premise that I'm a sell out, don't try to reinvent your comments. "It's informercial" right? Yes disagreements are totally welcome, 1000s of examples of comments prove that. But if I see it, I do not welcome grandstanding on my videos trying to convince the world of made up conspiracies. I gave you facts in my comments, hoping you could take a hint. But no, you continued your agenda so you got slapped down.
@nutnfancy Bye, buddy! Was going to respond but I wont. You always want to have the final word so be it.
Just try to spend some time with your family, because if you have 2 jobs and produced 720 vids (you say each take 1 day to produce, thats 2 years of work non stop) just for the fun of it, you probably are the most selfish person I ever seen.
Try to be with your wife and kids once in a while. Bye. Now you can block me.
@nutnfancy its fine to speak your mind but you don't have to be a !@# (keeping it clean, I'm sure kids may be looking at this). you have plenty of people that may have different opinions, and thats there right, but you don't have to get rude, and chiodarelli should not have lashed out like he did all he should have done was, respectively, said what he thought, and end it their.

It's hard to believe people have so much free time on their hands to bash a great gear reviewer like nutnfancy. If you don't like nutn and what he has to say then go visit a forum and have a ball. You'll find tons of people just like you...trollin...looking for something to hate on.
Hey NnF,as I'm watching you shoot,it gave me the idea to ask you if those electronic ear muffs work for shooting ? Home Depot sells Ryobi brand and they seem to work.I had them on when my friend took a hammer and wacked it up against a steel I-beam and it silenced it.I'm sure you already mentioned this before but I'm a fairly new subscriber.Thanx
@KiloSierraAlpha this is true, as much as its fucked up. its better to use a weapon that has been proven to work than one that might work when both can get you in just as much trouble
Great comments from gunnie45 and Bk (and heyduewhatsup) some pple ( i use that term very loosly) just have no idea and no life. Thank you Veri for sorting that trash out, now hopefuly that will be it ( doubt it but hey what can you do) and we can get back to enjoyiing Nutn's vids. Whiskey Delta fellow TNPers AE/Hyneas go E.A.D. cheers and peace.
@TheDishD Well hey now Dish, I know you are a modest man so I will go ahead and add your name to that list of awesome comebacks, you did leave some nice ones.
And yes, some ... *erm* "people" just can't get a clue, they will never be swayed because they don't want to be. They would rather mock, jab and insult folks just because they want to be rude and have no life.
And now, without any more time to waste, I'm off to watch more of Nutn's vids.
Your videos quit showing up in my subscriptions box. I thought you had been really busy or something, turns out I'm 10 vids behind!!!! BTW, the electrical resistance of the human body can vary greatly from person to person, thereby making some people "immune" to Tazers and stun guns. It is rare, but it does occur. Great vid as always. Love and Respect brother.
@VaperSteve1975 I was reading through YouTube help the other day, and that is a common glitch right now. I think they're working on it, but you know how YouTube is... -- Veri
I take a course whose instructor teaches primarily JiuJutsu with emphasis on military and police training (he used to be an instructor for both for many years, and quite effective at it). We also do very basics firearm familiarization (as well as practical, applied takeaways with realistic expectations), we train with the batons which I own, and the tazer as well.
Well, I said all that because: Some tazer's charge drops after 5 seconds or so. Suggestion: Turn off, then back on to keep charge.
Nutnfancy spends half an hour talking how great is a product (the competition is barely metioned and when he does it he never really compares the C2 against the other taser, just says the X26 is too big).
Then redirects the audience to a website that just happen to have a clearence on the product.
@chiodarelli sigh, ok you'v made your feelings quite clear on how you feel about this vid and it's "imfomercialism" 1. Nutn' get 1000's of PMs, emails and posts to not only review certain gear, but recommend the best place/company to get said gear from. Hence why he recommends the best priced place to get them from, one he uses & trusts, if that happens to be a place/company assoicated with TNP so be it. i would (and most TNPers) rather purchase from someone Nutn' trusts and uses. cont..
@chiodarelli cont.. The c2 and x26c( civie version of the LE issued Taser) are made by the same company, 2. the c2 is the best civie EDC, x26c can be but as Nutn say's in his opinon its to big to EDC, there is no real competion to the c2 for value and function. Now you can search the web, but PFI does have the best price on the c2. Nutn' generaly only reveiws gear that he likes and knows is high value and reliable.
@chiodarelli The reason he doesn't mention the competition is because he used the C2, and likes it. He reviews highvalue gear for his audience, and likes to find them good deals on the products. And the website he mentioned that "just happen to have a clearence on" has compedative prices. So you think he is just leading people on to make his "buds" some green? If he is friends with the buisiness owner, who cares as long as the man (PFI) is actually selling the product for a wicked price! (he is)
@chiodarelli Obviously the C2 is an awesome product (if you take the time to do the research you will see...) and that's why Nutn is even talking about it. No where in the video does he say it's the BEST taser out there... I'm sure they all have their pros and cons. But IT IS a good product and the only reason he directs you to the PFI site is because it's cheap as hell there! Try and find a C2 w/ light and laser for 255 bucks like you can on PFI's site using the nutnfancy code. douche
@chiodarelli Again, you soapbox more here...you're gone. But to your last point (a waste of time I know): you say "then redirects the audience to a website that just happen to have a clearence on the product....I mean, COME ON!!!!" Are you suggesting this is a ruse, a lie, a secret plot to rip you off? If so you are yet another conspiracy kook, go elsewhere. Website shown has best prices, simple as that. If svc or prices suck, they're gone. Just ask Fitzen how that worked & he's a friend!
Second, I never said that nutnfancy's reviews are not good. I bought many things based on his reviews in the past and probably will buy this taser too! But I recognise a infomercial when a see one !!!
A reviewer with 100K plus subscribers doesntt have a a small audience. Specially if you consider that the majority of the audience.likes and buys gear.
If only one percent decides to buy something its more than a 1000 people buying from one single manufecturer. Call me crazy but this channel is a great place to advertise!
@chiodarelli Hey chio I am getting ready to block you. How can you question my integrity and then buy my rec'd gear?! You are hypocritical. Yes I have a huge audience...who cares? It doesn't change anything I do here. And the X26 was purposely NOT covered for time. It's idiotic comments like yours ("he never really compares the C2 against the other taser, just says the X26 is too big") that act as if no video is ever THOROUGH enough, long enough for you. The X26 might be reviewed later.
I just can not beleive the comments from some people in reguard to LEO's and Military Personal, agun17 straight up your a twat, balefulmoon you seem to enjoy doing the troll on not just Nutn's vid, get a freaking life tosser. thanks i feel much better, BK and all the other LEO's that put their life in harms way every time thay go to work, respect and thank you. To all Service Men and Women ( what ever country, US,UK, Australia et etc) that have choosen to serve, THANK YOU. haters= EAD.
@TheDishD Lay it on DishD...those bastards deserve it! You want come out to a TNP vid and play the protectionist, the conspiracy theorist, the expert on "the real TNP," the elitist, the asshole...you will be treated accordingly. I fear no one and logic is my ally. There's some real psychos showing up here and it's fun owning them in their convoluted ways. There are some great posters here too but they need to step it up like these Capts and takes these fools to school. Enjoy!
@nutnfancy thank you Nutn' i just cant help myself sometimes, i read some of the posts and im like wtf... you cant say that and not have some sort of response, esp when they slag off LEO's and service personal. It my pleasure to do my little bit, and as you can see Nutn im not alone in hosing dwn the AE/hyneas. Whiskey Delta Nutn.
@TheDishD Right on the money DishD. And yes, thanks to not only the men and women of the US armed forces, but to those the world over whom are protecting the good people around the world.
Though it seems that there are alot of haters, the only reason for that is everyone else actually have lives. The hyenas spend every waking hour trolling the internets for anything to argue about, making stupid remarks, trying to hide their jealousy. We see though the BS.
@Trigunnie45 "hyenas spend every waking hour trolling the internets for anything to argue about, making stupid remarks, trying to hide their jealousy" YES THEY DO! They have no jobs, just porn, hate, & jealousy over TNP using every hate tactic imaginable to attack me, bring harm to my family, and destroy TNP. Check out them weighing in on KVARCORP's latest vid doing just that. LIes & more lies. Same a-holes issuing death threats & identity attacks against me all over the internet!!!

Once your knowledge is complete and your competent in training and implementing that knowledge then you will never be wrongfully charged... in a perfect world.

I like the Israeli approach. A 22lr to the thigh. No probes to fail. And you have more shots if you need them. You won't die but it will ruin your day for sure.
bluerazors 8 months ago
@bluerazors if you hit the femoral artery in the thigh they could bleed out FAST = death. A 22lr can be a very lethal round in many cases. It is by no means a pellet gun.
glock19x300 7 months ago
when u say replace it, do u mean the entire taser c2 ( from leaving it on the ground and running away) or just the cartridge ?
lostcoz99 8 months ago
I know someone who has been tased 9 times now, soon to be 10 (he's an LEO and does it for training purposes).
xmanhockey7 9 months ago
Is the C2 more effective than a lot of other tasers? I see videos on youtube of people getting tasered, and they stand and still attack an officer. I wonder if in these videos they weren't taser that used implemented NMI
basshoundusa 9 months ago
people in the police force that are outfitted with the taser have to get shot with them so they know how well they work so that there are no doubts within the crew
theflash9119 9 months ago
I did the class, for reasons I to this day do not quite understand, and volunteered to get shot with the device. I was shot with an x-26, which only has the 5 second "ride" (as in you bought the ticket, now you get the ride) and just...yeah. It made me a believer. I would definitely join Nutn in advocating this in front of a gun.

acschier13 10 months ago
They need to make it so you can pop the cartridge without touching it. If you leave it there then they have it and can buy cartridges for it. The cops usually only show up till after the fact and by then you'll be far away from where the incident happened. id rather subdue the attacker wait till they're down, disengage the cartridge and run. Then you can just reload it. Nice overall though
litematter 11 months ago 2
@litematter I don't know if they still do this, but when my dad but his tazer, wasn't the c2 but it was one with cartridges. I think it was the xd-15 or something, same as police except the civilian 15 foot version. Anyways, they said they would replace the gun in case of emergency like you mentioned. They don't expect you to sit there the whole time with a subdued suspect.

Nutnfancy, i wanna know your opinion between lethal and non lethal self defense? i have been around knives my entire life, but i also own a stungun. my fear is that a knife will always "hit the target", but a stungun need to be activated by a button. i figure if i have to be close ranged either way, would a knife be a "more effective" option? or do YOU feel the stungun is a better option?(this is ~5mil v stungun)
zen1332 11 months ago
Thank you very much for this review. It is great to see a non biased and very informative review of less lethal options. I also watched Brotherskeepers review and it was excellent as well. I have the First Defense OC and the X26C and C2 Taser. I had been carrying the OC more simply because its smaller. However after watching this I am going to make the C2 my EDC less lethal tool. I also have the Kubotan on my keys. Thanks for the review.

MilesBennetDyson4 11 months ago
Do these things work through leather jackets?
Kliffton415 11 months ago

1hogfan83 1 year ago
you must be extremely careful with these devices. they can be extremely lethal!

In Norway tazers are forbidden, but not guns lol.
kastek9v 1 year ago
Nutn, what do you think about carrying a Taser while hiking in place of bear spray? You don't have to worry about wind -- at least as much. It's often windy up there, and this can be a big draw back to bear spray. It's relatively light and probably comparable in weight to a canister of bear mace. I've heard that the more muscle mass you have, the more impact the Taser has. I've never heard anyone consider the Taser for this use. I love hiking, but very concerned about bears and cougars!!!

I had the same exact question after I watched this video. Are tasers any good against brown bears or lions?

i don't see why you can't just have a gun and if someone pulls a knife on you tell them to stop and if they don't you shoot em and its self defence
scargill8 1 year ago
@scargill8 Legally "self defense" is a tricky thing to prove. Unless they're in your home, generally hurting someone is a thing that'll depend case to case. If you shoot a man you can end up accidentally killing him, which in my opinion is a big risk to take, as self defense is EXTREMELY hard to prove when the person you shot is dead.

how is taser technology cheaper its like 400$ still for a taser at least on there sight. id rater buy some pepper spray if i was going to leave it on the ground and run
krispy022 1 year ago
@krispy022 If you buy from pfi dude's site and use the nutn discount code it comes out to be around $250, not including a holster or additional cartridges. Also, as stated in the video, if you use it in a self defense situation and you call the police and a report is filed taser will replace your C2 for free.

I've been looking at the C2 which is at around $300 dollars in my area. This would be a really good tool for people who won't consider a gun. The modern Tazer is the best game going in non lethal at the moment. I prefer the tazer of OC spray for sure.

is that light/laser combo the possible impact points? the laser being the barb that shoots straight and then the light where the second barb will most likely hit????
gregos350 1 year ago
@gregos350 Uhh.. Well... Lemme try this. The laser is not there to show you where the barb/s hits. The laser dot helps you aim for the center of the "target", thus making it easyer to aim the C2. Without the laser dot, you would be blindly firing the taser at mr baddie. It's like firing a handgun without using sights, you wouldn't know where your shot will go.
Hope this helps, cheers.
Trigunnie45 1 year ago
@Trigunnie45 they should have a laser that has two dots and spreads when you go far and goes closer when you get closer that would be cool
atreyuthegreat 1 year ago
@atreyuthegreat ... Well yes that would be cool, but impractical. The "cone of fire" that the taser barbs fire at is pretty constant, but the actual location the barb/s hits is complete random.
Trigunnie45 1 year ago
@Trigunnie45 I didnt mean that the laser would show were the probes will hit thats very unpredictable, i meant it as maybe a way of telling if you might hit the target, lets say you think your out of range and might hesitate to shoot because you might not be sure that both probes will hit or even get close a laser does help but not much, i know it wouldnt happen but its just something to think about
atreyuthegreat 1 year ago
@atreyuthegreat Ah, I see what you mean now. =] You mean that the lasers would just help you gauge distance from mr bad guy. exe, the closer you are to your target the closer the laser dots would be, and visa versa. Correct?

I wouldn't call tasers completely non-lethal. Although the Taser is a programmable device, the controlling software does not limit the number of the bursts of pulses and the time between bursts while the trigger is held down continuously, or the number of times the shock cycles can be repeated. Thus the design does not adequately reduce the likelihood that the victim's heart enters into a deadly ventricular fibrillation.

Well, I said all that because: Some tazer's charge drops after 5 seconds or so. Suggestion: Turn off, then back on to keep charge.

@chiodarelli Cut it out, chio. You already spewed this crap earlier in the thread..not again. You've had your say..now move on. -- Veri

Enjoy!

Trigunnie45 1 year ago
@Trigunnie45 "hyenas spend every waking hour trolling the internets for anything to argue about, making stupid remarks, trying to hide their jealousy" YES THEY DO! They have no jobs, just porn, hate, & jealousy over TNP using every hate tactic imaginable to attack me, bring harm to my family, and destroy TNP. Check out them weighing in on KVARCORP's latest vid doing just that. LIes & more lies. Same a-holes issuing death threats & identity attacks against me all over the internet!!!
