I guess you mean you can use it in combination with these other styles. Why Not! If it works for you and you're comfortable with it, go for it. I like combining Muay Thai; if I had time I'd spend more of it on Grappling/wrestling of the sort as well.
I don't know if the term 'fix' is correct. I don't think WC needs to be fixed;the individual simply needs to address other areas some schools might not focus as much on,i.e.,grappl'g & clinchesetc.Chi Na &other similar arts complementary w/Wc is available, not everyone has time to do all.For a street defense, people don't nec.have to study anyth'g else; for the ring, it would be more beneficial to study other systems (grappling, clinching, etc.)
Self Commentary: This filmed about a year+ back or so. Foot work should be more on my toes and no sliding; certain improvement on position of body and distance for striking is needed in analyzing my own performance. See video description.
I do Muay Thai and I'm able to incorporate Wing Chun in with Muay Thai. There's less difference than you think, it's a matter of what the focus is. Muay Thai is focused upon Ring Fighting, which can also be used in the streets. Wing Chun has numerous aspects; however, to use WC for ring fighting, you need to focus upon tech for the ring. Contrary to desirable belief, Wing Chun has great techniques.
