She is wonderful with him, though I doubt there was any doubt in anyones mind! :) Will try to make a new video in the coming months, this time with live video since technology has upgraded my camera though the years!

i saved 3 dogs i have 4 i saved a german shepherd from a small apartment it could not live there i saved a bosten tayer from a smoker it was not well it was weak and sick and i saved a nother bosten no one wanted it because it did not look like the others we think all of are dogs are sssoooooooooo cute we plan to save a nother one from a small pet stoire it is not good for the dogs in a small shape.

Elway was abused as a puppy and tied to a tree for most of his life. His leg was broken and he was never taken for treatment. All of my pets have been rescued ever since I was born and I'm 27 now. I love the fact that rescued animals don't take for granted what you've done for them. From what I've eperienced pure bred pets don't show the love rescued animals show. I totally loved your video!

I have a female GSD who we adopted. She had Parvo's virus as a pup and was passed from home to home until we took her! She still gets separation anxiety attacks but she is with us for life and is gradually calming down (thank god)!

I think people in denial despising dogs just because they have some disease or just because they have scabies. in this case Audrey was infested of worms. Many would say. - Kill the bitch. - You're losing time. Try another dog more healthy. But you do not leave this angel abandoned. The brightness in her eyes. express all the gratitude and love she feels for you. they do not demand much. Only love. Forgive my ugly english.

Wow - Audrey was almost as bad as Dooley - she looks awesome! I work with GSD Rescue and you would not believe how many times we see cases like this. It makes me so happy to see them heal and grow and come to believe that there is a better life waiting for them. I'm so sorry for your loss. The start of my "GSD love affair" began with a male shepherd who crossed the bridge at last spring. It's so hard to say goodbye when you know the time has come. I hope Audrey gives me as many wonderful years as he did.
I hope she has forgotten her wicked and cruel past! How lovely she is, her eyes now look soft and she is so pretty. Congratulations on the job you have done, I haven't stopped sobbing just yet, as I am a German Shepherd person and can't imagine the sick and cruel mind of whoever treated her in such a way!
They are absolutely wonderful dogs! If you have never had them before, I'd highly recommend contacting a german shepherd specific rescue. The adoption fee will generally get you a dog that has already been spayed/neutered, as well as completely health checked. The best part is that experienced GSD people will have temperment tested the dog and best be able to match you to the right dog.
Amazing! She looks so much better now! It's people like you who make the world a good place for animals who've probably given up on life, you've got several gorgeous dogs and they look more than happy! Post more of her, she's a beautiful gal.

Thank you, again, for all the kind words. As I sit here and write this, Audrey is stretched out sound asleep, probably dreaming about how good breakfast will taste in the morning. To this day, she is still obscessed with food! Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that the smelly, oozing, wormy, pup I picked up from the shelter that morning would turn into one of the best dogs that has ever set paw in this house. Rescue dogs truely do give back tenfold what you put into them.
Our GSD Dooley looked like that when we got him, but he came with the addition of acid and cigarette burns - it took a year for him to get healthy, but they are SOOOO worth it. Thanks for saving her - she looks terrific!

My german had passed away from a long illness.
I went to a pet day and met a Siberian who needed a home and family and was seriously ill.
That was almost five years ago a sick lonely abandoned siberian was found next to the freeway.
We have survived four hurricanes together and a move to the mountains.
He has had his first christmas with snow and he is the bright star in my life.
Audrey has found a family and love every dog deserves that.
Audrey is one lucky dog may god watch over her.

i cried watching this video,it's beautiful what u did for this dog all animals deserve to be treated with respect.
unfortunatly there's a lot of animal cruelty.

Wow - Audrey was almost as bad as Dooley - she looks awesome! I work with GSD Rescue and you would not believe how many times we see cases like this. It makes me so happy to see them heal and grow and come to believe that there is a better life waiting for them. I hope many people see these rescue stories and know these dogs can be saved with a little food and lots of love. Congratulations - you've got a pal for life and you've done a terrific job!

WOW I am in AWE she looks so beatiful not that she didn't in the begining, u gave her all she ever wanted & needed lots of LOVE & a GOOD HOME. There just isn't enough people like you. Im so glad you shared this with us, it made me sad at first to see what she had went through, then came you ;) All of your dogs are just beatiful. My Simba Lou gave me 14 wonderful yrs and I am lucky to have known that type of love in this life, thanks for sharing this 5 stars

I have a 3 year old female GSD and she is the most wonderful dog I have ever owned. I have owned other types of dogs before but now that I have had a GSD I will never own another type of dog. Thank you for rescuing this poor girl. Let's save the world on GSD at a time.

You've done such a great job with Audry, she's beautifull!! God Bless you for giving this little love a second chance in life, how people can be so cruel is beyond me, but sad to say it's happening all the time.

Oh jesus.
That movie is extremely touching. Im a HUGE dog lover and i have absolutely no idea how anyone can mistreat dogs, or animals in general! It pisses me off when i see situations like that. I mean, if you dont want to take care of an animal, then give it to someone who will! God, i hate some people! lol
But bless you for saving her.
Also, me and her have the same name. Thats killer. <3

I cant find really the right words to write, what I think. I try: Absolut good and an inspiration for us all! It was surely a lot of hard work and you must have spent much time and -also- money to bring this dog back to life worth living. But you made it! I am still crying while writing this comment. what a beautiful animal and such an amazing story. she really is a gem. I have a german shepherd which we rescued(as we have all our dogs). audrey looks so happy now with her new family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. The start of my "GSD love affair" began with a male shepherd who crossed the bridge at last spring. It's so hard to say goodbye when you know the time has come. I hope Audrey gives me as many wonderful years as he did.

I hope she has forgotten her wicked and cruel past! How lovely she is, her eyes now look soft and she is so pretty. Congratulations on the job you have done, I haven't stopped sobbing just yet, as I am a German Shepherd person and can't imagine the sick and cruel mind of whoever treated her in such a way!

They are absolutely wonderful dogs! If you have never had them before, I'd highly recommend contacting a german shepherd specific rescue. The adoption fee will generally get you a dog that has already been spayed/neutered, as well as completely health checked. The best part is that experienced GSD people will have temperment tested the dog and best be able to match you to the right dog.

Thank you, again, for all the kind words. As I sit here and write this, Audrey is stretched out sound asleep, probably dreaming about how good breakfast will taste in the morning. To this day, she is still obscessed with food! Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that the smelly, oozing, wormy, pup I picked up from the shelter that morning would turn into one of the best dogs that has ever set paw in this house. Rescue dogs truely do give back tenfold what you put into them.

Our GSD Dooley looked like that when we got him, but he came with the addition of acid and cigarette burns - it took a year for him to get healthy, but they are SOOOO worth it. Thanks for saving her - she looks terrific!
