This documentary was much more interesting than I thought it would be. Jack goes into great detail about his internal conflict about masculinity, how he turned that conflict around by creating the "Jack Wrangler" persona and the porn industry, and the disapointment his father had in him when Jack didnt live up to his expectations...among other things. At the end of the documentary Jack says he wanted to take "a bite out of life", well he certainly accomplished that. A very good documentary.

Watch for the new documentary "Out Rage" which recently premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. This festival was originated by the great American actor, Robert DeNiro, several years ago. The documentary addresses right wing, Christian Republicans who openly and vehemently denounce homosexuality, while they are closeted gays, themselves. Hatred is usually self hatred. Can't wait to see the film.

I quickly wrote a "review" (see previous comments) of the Wrangler documentary that was released last year. I wonder if Jack knew at that time of his terminal illness? I think so. Sadly/ironically, it makes "Wrangler: Anatomy of an Icon" even more interesting to watch now. Certainly, to say that life is fleeting, is as corny as it is true. RIP, Jack. You left an indelible mark.
