I find that the flip screen can be a distraction. What I do is tilt it so that the image still visible but not prominent. I suggest recording in the best quality. You can always render the final video smaller if you choose. I also render in a high quality format since YouTube can handle it.
Lighting can be very affordable. We bought several shop lights at Home Depot for about $10 apiece.
It doesn't matter where you start out. What counts is where you end up & that you enjoy the journey. The new cam is great & you're just getting better & better. Thanks for the nice shoutout my dear. It was unexpected & appreciated. Glad to hear you now enjoy the "Base-Do". LOL It does have a mind of it's own. Just this week, comparisons to someone name Jon Hexum &, of course, the ever popular "Ken" were posted a lot. Too funny. :)
great vid, I had some problems when I did a vid in HD is that some people with there internet service has a problem watching my vid of me painting because the res was to high for them to watch.
You really are doing such a good job on both your channels!!! I am glad to be subscribed & be ur friend!!! I have thousands of people I work with everyday... and on Mon when I go back to work.... I am putting this channel in everyones inbox for them to sub to!!! Thanks for all ur jokes & all you do!!! YOU ARE GREAT!!! <3 xoxo
HD just takes longer to upload and you dont need it, this is YT not Fox. Besides HD would just make your lisp clearer !!!! Yup i said it...... HaHa Kiddin as always
Nice buy..I have a sony handycam hdr-cx7. and you dont need HD for youtube and record in the smallest format so all can see so the vid isn't choppy while it plays..
@ding0925 okay...so what about quality... wont i lose quality by filming small? i filmed this one HQ (highest setting), exported it large (960*540) and i am not noticing it jumping around on me... is it for you all?
(sorry for replying with this channel... i am in the middle of something and dont want to log out log in etc... what a pain effen YT!)
@iCrazybitchtv no smaller is ok on youtube if your filming a wedding to be watched later on your 65in flat screen than larger is better.. and i ment choppy in when you first click to watch vid you have to pause it and let vid load for a second than you can watch and if you were to film in hd the vid would take forever to upload , and your are not choppy , mine are loaded in 640x480 just record in as small as possable..Dave
@iCrazybitchtv you'll get several opinion's on vid quality, good advise is whatever works best for you ..render you vid in several different formats watch them and go from there, keep in mind the better the quality the larger the file, the larger the file the harder to upload and watch, if its hard to watch(slo loading ) no one will watch..Dave
@Llzdd wow! i am honored you think so... i hope to be soon... it is a lot tougher than it used to be to get in the club! fingers are crossed here! Thanks so much!
@ItsQuiteSimple yeah i looked at them and i thought that it was a piece if shit...i mean other than getting HD capability at a cheap price.... I film alone a lot and i needed to be able to see myself while filming... plus i got 80G hard drive space...
oh well i know a lotta people like them though... they just didn't give me the big O
Like when I watch the Shaytard vlogs for example they seem realllyyy good quality and you can get a little tripod for them and what not, thinking about getting 1 myself
Sweet camera! I bought a Sony hard drive camera (30 GB) a couple of years ago and it is excellent. The camera has HD but I rarely use it... I would suggest going for mpeg2, but I am not that technical either...so ask around.
@canadianstudmuffin Thanks! Cool now i can say that i work with the same stuff the REAL stars do! haha! I am sure that everything will get better as i play with it more!
Great vid. Sorry I don't have any advice, I'm just getting started myself, so I'm still just ham-fisting it myself so far. Keep up the sweet vids, really liking 'em.
Nice camera. And interesting videoblog.
