  • I want to know more about their diet and supplements

Its obvious they trained their asses off on gymnastic rings, kettle bells and many other crazy creative methods.

  • @trevisfat

Trev your muscles won't get bigger with the type of exercise you're doing now. Bodyweight is good yes but the number of reps you're doing is only building up muscular endurance NOT muscle hypertrophy which is the growth of the muscle. So while you may have a lot of muscular endurance that does not mean that your muscles will be bigger.

  • The guy that says "if you're not nervous before you train" is my fucking cousin! Im so proud of him! he used to be a rollerblader. I haven't seen him in years but i know he is with the Fast Motion crew. His name is Mathieu Ledoux. WOW. I've wasted my life drinking beer and smoking weed while he made it as a professionnal stuntman and we basically have the same genetics.

    >.<

  • i run 2 miles, 100 chin ups

50 push ups, 50 sit ups, 50 bicep curls with 25kg/20kg oon each arm

--but my muscles are not that big?

i noticed that the trick is to go from one exercise to next within seconds and also only exercise every other day

  • @trevisfat are you serious? Your in heaps good shape man!

  • @trevisfat Try adding weight if you want to get bigger. You've got great endurance, especially with those 100 chinups. If you switched to one arm pushups and one arm pullups you would be freakin strong!

  • this is a stupid question but what is the exercise done here after the tire flip? Is it just a "jump"?

  • @MetaIhead89 check, just jumping in and out the tire , like plyo-jumps ; )

  • I want to get smashed

  • They come in looking soft.... They get smashed!

  • where can i go and how much?

  • @LegendaryStory google crossfit bro

  • @DXSXDXSXD you don't need any of that fortunatelly. Now get off that couch and do some training. No gyms or protein bullshit.

  • @DXSXDXSXD Yeah buddy u're right. When u have all the resources, it's all down to ur mind.

  • as sweet as this training is, its not sustainable, nobody is going to keep that pace up for years and years (unless you are a pro athlete and thus watching these youtube videos are useless at that point)

  • Crossfit anyone?

  • Beard make the difference

  • THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • would love to get to train at Gym Jones!

  • 11 people are Persians

  • 11 people are Persians

  • wtf is he doing at 2:02 ? what shitty form

  • i love 2:00 he looks very thick, i love his body

  • @DXSXDXSXD And they recieve money for it. Fucking amazing.

  • I swear to God if I hear "crossfit" one more time , Im going to kick myself in the balls...its nothing new you jackasses, that type of training has been around 4ever!!! I was doing that shit long before crossfit was even a whisper...

  • so shouting is the key...

  • makes p90x look like shit on a disc

  • damn, they cheat on the pullups lol !

  • @smoku46 the training they did for this movie is just crossfit

  • @dancar nope its customized high intensity training. Crossfit is just a brand name

  • dmix09 is a douche haha

  • Hey man, all these exercises can be done in public park..so quit whinging...get started and Prepare for Glory.

  • Looks out like my Judo training for competition?

  • these types of workouts are short term, like you said they would get really built but they would be far beyond overtraining by that time. Its a way to shock your body short term before an event.

  • The guy that says: thats right no pain no gain!... isnt that Havoc from Team ryouko?

  • @WarrexX Thought so too :S Might be :3

  • what would happen if u do the same exercise all your life? u can not get rippped ! ?

  • and who says acting is easy?

  • I remember this from the DVD featurette.

  • @BrawlyProductionz If they had used steroids they would have gotten that buff in about 2 months; they worked out this way for a solid 6 months before any shooting even started. Zack Snyder was generous with them; a lot of movie studios are real douchebags and tell you "you only got one month," Snyder wasn't like that though he was reasonable.

  • @BrawlyProductionz with that level of intensity, also, they would have ended up much bigger with 6 months of training like that.

  • I just wish I got paid for training. I'm about to go running to the park and I'm not going to earn one bloody cent. :-(

  • 2:10 LOL?

ist that lifting with the bottem of the boddy kinda like lifting yourself up

  • It's called kipping. It works different muscles like the abs, back, and hip flexors. Strict pull-ups only use the muscles in the upper body.

  • Comment removed

  • + they get paid for it 0.0

  • Yeah!!

Damn! They were so lucky! A training like this in a gym (with a proper trainer) would cost so fucking much!

  • I love what the trainer did with those actors

  • this is crossfit, he stole it

  • @angusbeefable How do you steal crossfit? It's circuit training on steroids. Any trainer can incorporate similar ideas into their own workouts.

  • yeah except when he used the ideas he did not credit crossfit with with ideas, he said he made it up

  • he did make it up, i'm also a crossfitter but you can't give crossfit credit for a workout that he designed, besides crossfit isnt anything revolutionary, people have been doing this for years, glassman just put a name on it

  • @angusbeefable crossfit didnt invent circuits

  • idiot you know who mark twight is? shut up pussy!

  • 1:02 stop ??? wtf

  • He has an elastic band tied around his waist.

  • 1:59 the guy who said no pain no gain looks like Ilan (Havoc) from team ryouko

  • I find general warm up, and then quick hard training intervals with egg white or chicken sandwich to be precise in strength building

  • i do it quite a lot, its really fun.. but fucking tough!

  • the training looks like fun i want to try it

  • if i had a huge tractor tire and all that stuff id be thrilled. looks like fun

  • lol yeah after doing about a couple sets off that, it wouldn't be so fun.

  • i doubt it would feel good, but i like challenges so for me it would be fun. and than after a week id want to kill the trainer

  • SPARTANS!!!

    PREPARE FOR GLORY!!!

  • i think the guys in this movie are really hawt. i just want to do them all night long!

  • gym jones is just a carbon copy of crossfit

  • yea, but freakin gym jones recently got selected in the top ten best gym by (M&F Mag) eventho they don't have the traditional gym and no average joe just can sign in,

  • who knows, they both are cool concepts, I'm personally just happy that there's gyms that are starting to focus more on athletic development instead of just body building

  • glad to hear that you think that way .... on my side i am slacking off need to get back

  • Yeah those 10 minute crossfit workouts will get you jacked! Pathetic

  • It's a man not a boy baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yeah, tricky, i wanna know too. I wanna know what exercises other than these they did

  • It's a complete circuit workout.

  • anyone know where you can get the actual vid for the workouts??

  • Just because someone is attracted to hard bodies of people doesn't make them gay!

  • whats that band they have tied around them, while there sprinting?

  • rubber band

  • its likea bunjee cord, it pulls them back when they are sprinting and acts as a type of resistance, so it works te muscles harder :)

  • dude screw you 300 was SICK

  • wow your cool

  • yes

  • i just did this today and almost cried before the one arm kettle bell cleans, but i manned it out and even ran 2 miles directly afterward. it is one of the hardest things Ive ever done, takes a madman to complete.

  • OTHERS

  • With that being said, every culture has "borrowed" from other cultures. Some have prospered some have failed. Americans are a baby culture compared tho the greeks who did give so much to the world. Lets not forget the Romans, English, Persians, Egyptians, Myans, Inca, Native Americans oh and the Spanish. Im sure thats not all but a short list of influential cultures. What about what we as americans have given. Too many things to list by far but the most important, OUR LIVES FOR O

  • you are trainer specialists people :D

wish i could hear from u some of the know-how u guys habituated about bodybuilding

    respect :)

  • maybe just watch the video yea? kaititoi

  • Awesome training. This is what it's all about! No gym here! Talk about dynamic training. This is awesome!

  • (pes ta re aderfe mas gamhsane me tis malakies tous) I agree, americans should seriously stop trying to immitate other people's cultures to cover up any lack of their own. Especially coultures they have no idea about. All of you uploading spartan training videos should jump of a cliff...

  • Maybe you Greeks should stay away from stupid American technology, as it seems you're having a hard time using it. Hahahahahahahaaaaahaaaa. Go riot against the gypsies and Turks and let us watch Youtube in peace.

  • Ok you invented youtube well done stupid americans

We feel embarassed to have invented only minor things like astronomy, maths, philosophy, democracy etc.

but yeah man you invented youtube you must be very smart.

Please go jump from your balcony now

  • well put buddy...america has mostly brought destruction to the world..i'm not greek but u guys made history..LITERALLY, greece is the birth place of democracy.

  • In case it slipped your attention, you were the ones who came here in order to look for interesting scenarios, since your pathetic lifestyle is summarised by films such as american pie... And there is a big difference between being the leading element of the fashion world and being a civilised nation. And an even bigger one between becoming fat from eating wanna-be food mc donald's shit every day, and being happy.

  • you stupid americans the spartans were not like that they were short and skinny.

the only difference they had with others was that due to their hard training they were the only ones who could afford to wear a heavy armour. also they had the most effective combat tactics and it was unacceptable for them to coward in battle. dont buy what you see in films go read some books

  • That's why the Spartans disappeared, eh?

  • probs

  • everyone disappears, sooner or later

  • Some guys are wondering why spartans were so big..THINK there were not lifing in a comfortable house with LEATHER sofas no cars no BIKES they walked most of the time everywhere exept long distances with horses rarely and there were sitting on STONE couches

  • they were like special forces of the ancient world!

  • how did the actual spartans train. its almost impossible to tell.

  • Has anyone seen the 300 workout in Fitness RX? It shows some workouts like this but not the full thing. Does anyone know where to get the full workout?

  • cool how they had to really work for there part in a movie eh? :D Good for them. they got alot out of being in that movie. XD

  • where can i buy such elastics? (like 0:18)

  • Elitefts got a couple of bands for usage with barbells but they aren't long enough for this purpose I guess. I don't know where they have got them, maybe they have linked multiple ones to each other? Elitefts got kettlebells and sleds to.

  • He's not an idiot, you idiot.

  • lol and how is he?

  • Which section of the DVD is it on?

  • ce havock grande l allenamento lo devo provare assolutamente

  • You didn't have to do all this training for a movie. Just send them to Ranger School.

  • gym jones how do i join ur camp?

  • You can't, it's an invitation only gym.

  • im an athlete though...ive done a bunch of 5k's, 10k's, half marathons, full marathons, sprint trithlons, olympic trithlons, i just did a half Ironman, 100 mile bike rides, mile swims

  • too bad you cant spell triathlon.

  • What about,shit,piss,anal,fist!?

  • i want a 8 pack just like that dudes son that gets his head cut off

  • me too

  • you might be verry strong but stamina is every thing without it you even couldn't use your heavy muscels (i dont know how to spell it)

  • YEAH! you win! What a life.

  • i have it was actual realy easy my home work out is that i do once a week is more dificult. Its just 75 push ups in 2 minutes. 80 sit ups in 3 minutes and a mile run in less than minutes. The SAS is harder they do wat could long drag 40 mile march no rest 8 stone back pack that has to completed in 6 hours at night with no map just a compas and on your own.

  • Try being a college student and sitting at home in between class, eating and watching Spongebob. My workout wins. Everything else is for not real men.

  • Wrong way to do pull-ups. No Form.

  • Your about the millionth asshole to make that point. They're doing kippling pullups. They're not doing normal deadhang pullups.

    Don't be such a dick.

  • They should stop testing atheletes for steroids, and start testing actors who magicaly put on 15 pounds of muscle for a movie.

  • Actually it was 10 weeks of training for 4 hours a day

  • hahaha not magical. You work hard and eat well too, you'll see why they got in such great shape.

  • hey im 14 years old...and i wana know where i can get this type of training...thanks!!1

  • lol. join marines , theyll whoop your ass and you gonna do work out like this without dripping a sweat

  • And then you can get blown up in a foreign country, hoooray.

  • hahah!!

  • Please, marines may be tough cause they get their asses kicked by superiors, but they're not in nearly as good athletic shape as this kind of training would do. I've met many marines who weren't in that great of shape.

  • These actors were only in that good of shape for the movie then went back to the old lifestyles im sure. Also why do kippling pullups when you can just do them the right way?

  • Oh, I'm sure. This kinda training schedule is too much for someone who's only doing it for a role.

As far ass the pullups, the kippling pullups promote more explosive strength and speed. Don't get me wrong, normal pullups are great too, but I feel its really best to do both. BTW, they're not doing it the wrong way, they're just doing it a different way.

  • I don't think you've ever seen marine training. My father is a Major, and I've seen first hand what the marines had to endure. This is nothing compared to what the marines do. Trust me.

  • I've seen what Marine Boot Camp is like, I almost enlisted a while back. The Marine Training in my opinion doesn't push much athletic conditioning. It's just brutal and beats down on them. They can endure more pain and suffering.

I would say that Marines are tougher than these guys, but these guys had a higher level of athleticism.

  • I like the tire flipping. Anyone know where you can get tires that size?

  • junk yard

  • Fuck they're my new idols. I'd die if i ever tried that. Well they did get good results so weel done to them.

  • SPARTA AND PELOPONISUS FOREVER

  • Fuck.... can't even get up to grab the remote... this vid made me sad....

    Still: THIS-IS-SPARTAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol!

  • Genuine fitness. HA-OUUH!! HA-OUH!!

  • lol why is havok training with them

  • Yup, I'm sure you know more than Mark Twight.

  • if this trainer mark twight knows so much about working out, how come he isn't yoked?

  • Mark Twight has a bunch of mountain climbing records. It's not so much that he knows so much about working out, it's that he knows what it takes to really get fit, which is what the directors wanted.

I have been doing crossfit since summer, and it is way harder and more potent that conventional gym workouts.

  • you've been doing crossfit? how long is that training program and is it expensive?

  • It's as long as you want to commit to it; there are more women than men where I go to, but it seems that the men get more results from it because they are more willing to commit to going the extra distance. THe workouts themselves are short, but really high intensity. It is expensive though, because the classes are small, so it's like having a personal trainer. Both of the guys that run it are certified crossfit affiliates.

  • Yeah I've been doing crossfit since September - it's awesome and really gives results in regards to strength and endurance. Where I train I'm the only woman but I think it makes it a challenge for myself to keep up with the guys - its great when I beat them at a time or weight! I think more women should get into this style of training but you're right, they need to push themselves harder too.

  • you're either huge as shit, or the guys you train with are weak. but great job though, at least you're not sitting on your ass like half the losers watching this.

  • Usually of course the guys will lift more than me or run faster, but depending on the exercise we do I have beaten them before. Often I'll lift alot more than the new guys who start up as I have more experience with the exercise. I'm not saying I'm superwoman or anything, but Crossfit really works for me. You should check out the Crossfit "Nasty girls" video - those are some strong women!

  • Stop saying the word "yoke," idiot.

  • wait you aren't even yoked

  • im not sure if they show their actual day to day routine but basically 4 hours a day no repeat excercises i don't have the dvd yet but i seen that on comic-con i wonder how they eat

  • its on dvd tuesday

  • what the heck? It's stolen CrossFit.

  • It sure is. If you go to the GymJones site Crossfit isn't even mentioned. Tsk, Tsk.

  • Actually, GymJones was one of the founders of CF but there was some sort of falling out so he started up his own thing.

  • is there any other '300 training' video?

  • nvm

  • sorry the british accents throw me off

  • ....what British accents?

  • how the hell did you get the DVD when the movie is till in theatres?

  • They released a 300 feature DVD

  • Does the DVD contain any actual schedule of the training they did? Theres been a workout routine called "300" that is supposedly a one time test i cant seem to find the actual schedule these guys used, i know most of their workouts were random but a complete calander of what they did would be sweet.
