man that was a hard hit i was there for that race. i saw the aftermath i didnt see the crash unfoled i was watching the race for the lead. it was a great race for the first time the trucks raced at Dover.
OMG that was a hard hard impact.......like Darrell Wlatrip once said is that the TV and cameras does not do that justice.....if he was going a little faster wed be talking about him with Tony Roper
it does! i didn't even notice that it looked like nr2003. Like the debris all over, but the car doesn't look like it's missing parts, and then being hit again.
He would've been able to just walk away from that if a safer barrier was present.

Man, I remember this. If you look closely, he actually broke the wall. They spent a long time trying to fix it.

I read somewhere that he had to have reconstructive surgery on his face, but he returned to race in the Craftsman Truck Series the following season.
