I stopped going to the movies because I don't like to listen to somebody eating popcorn. It is stupid. There should be theaters for just watching movies.

I understand that popcorn and soda bring revenue. People are sheep, they just buy stupid things that makes them sick.

I worked at the movie theater and I used to sell popcorn for $11. What a rip off.

Besides that it is annoying and disrespectful to someone who paid for a ticket and would like to watch a movie, not fatso guy eating popcorn.

Charges are due to studios. Per ticket, theatres only get about 1-2 dollars.The rest go to the studios. If we did not charge high prices for concessions, we certainly would go bust. And, most theatres now use Canola, much healthier.
