Thats why you buy an American Jeep. A jeep could handle that with stock tires in four wheel drive. We are in America so drive American you morons, anyone that doesnt agree must not understand we won the war with Jeeps.
Location: Bunce School Road. Mud tires blow is the snow, just dig and high center you. Should've aired down to 8 instead of 15. Check out the trail this winter and see the video does the snow depth and hills no justice. Please don't let this video discourage you from getting a Tacoma or similar vehicle. Fullsize trucks may help you power thru this trail in the snow, but so may a lighter more equipped one. It is not necessary to go fast and beat the truck up, just may take a couple attempts.
all i can say dude is buy a set of 33" goodyear wrangler territorys
they will transform your winter wheelin. my friend has a stock sonoma on 235's wranglers that would eat that snow for breakfast. i live in sask canada he rolls it through 2 feet of snow with ease. i actually was with him backing up a steep hill through 3 feet of snow was the first time it was really tryin... but he kept a little momentum (kept it at about 10 mph) and it push through. the prob in snow is cleanout in the tires
i was thinkin a taco that is locked on 35s would be alot tougher than this.once it was stoped it was stuck and had to go backwards.i have seen other vehicals that get stoped and just keep eatin at it and the lockers will pull them thru. im lookin for a 4x4 to build but im not sure between a full size diesel pickup, jeep, taco or 1/2 ton truck.i was thinkin taco but this changed me a lil. whatever it will be locked and on at least 35s. 05-08 dodge power wagon? it will be mainly for snow.nice taco 2
@BLACKLACDTS full size chevy diesel!!!!! fast, powerful, and a hell of a lot more reliable than a dodge or ford IMO the only trucks i dont break are the chevy's i drive. i drive my personal truck for work too.... i broke the ford work truck i had alot of times...
uh what? first of all you want floatation in snow, second there's nothing light about this taco. How much ya think that front bumper/winch combo weigh. also, a silverado? i just threw up a little bit...
you think what you want but one snow day i was following my friend home in my truck in 2X4 and he has a 90 somthin tacoma that he built up and in 4X4 and he was having troubles while i just cruised around theres no way that thing ways even close to my truck appearently you want weight in snow seeing that they sell sand bags to grip on the ice under the snow that bumper and winch probably adds about 150 which is nothing compared to a V8 if you dont like a silverado then you can go F*** yourself
man people. it's just some guy with his A/Ts and his light ass pick up. i didn't expect much more.
