  • That's some mean resonance on that filter. I think it'd be better to sequence it with a different machine or something, shame to tie up the MD with sequencing only, unless the sequence plays some sweet stuff out of the MD synths as well.

  • @Sugardude i was just showing one possibility of using the sherman and the md - it need just one track of the 16 tracks of the Md - so no big shame ;)

  • It's really boring dude...

  • Thanks for showing this. Will the machinedrum control everything on the Sherman?

  • @CoffeeKills

as far as i remember is everything on the Sherman Midi-controllable - so yes the Md can control everything

  • @verstaerker

no the midi does not controll everything :( only 5 or 6 settings. and it doesn't control it through the entire range. only a portion of it.

  • Thank you so much! You helped me figure out something with my MD that I was stuck on for months! YOU ROCK!!!

  • I tend to agree with the "gerbil" comment.

  • Reminds me of some of Jeff Mills downtempo stuff.

  • I could listen to stuff like this all day. sdjhgabssdfgs;g sooooo gooood.

  • sound like the ass of a gerbill afther eat baker beans

  • Personally I prefer a "Radikal Spectralis".

  • hasn't that sherman became legend ?

  • nice example of sherman. but..

i think the machinedrum do better things ALONE.

    :)

  • i know - i just wanted to show that the sherman can do other things than just act as filter and distortion and how controllable it is with the Md

  • good

  • that must be the electronic representation of the amazon

  • Schönes experimentelles stück!

  • Very very cool and inspiring! :)

It makes me coming closer to my filterbank, which i find very difficult to handle.

  • Pretty cool.

  • there's no audio going into the sherman (maybe some groundnoise from the mixer) - what u hear is the resonance of the filter

  • Can you explain a little more about the signal flow of whats going on here?

What audio is actually going through the Sherman?

  • sherman ..is 100 percent pure belgian quality made by herman gillis.

  • Is it still available? Or has it been discontinued?

  • Still available !

  • awesome man. thats a lot of money in two boxes, though!

  • Could You post more vids from Sherman?

    I'd like to buy one.

  • Very Very Very cool and inspiring!

    Thank you for sharing!
