this guy is making us Canadians look like idiots. a Hellfire could never climb a 72 degree angle, i dont think any vehicle could. however if you already have enough speed you could probably do it. my t-maxx can make it over the 7' spine at our local skate park no problem with enough speed and its got about 2' of vert.

you can make the backbone on the stick any length, and you can limit the articulation, and put a little stiffer spring and shock oil in them. what is the supercrawler rules? limit on wheelbase and width or anything??? tire overal height 7" right???

as long as it has 4 wheels, anything goes in super class. good luck with the stick. the top 3 guys in the so-cal super class standings are running hustlers.

So do you guys prefer the new hustlers? im still debating buiding a hustler or a stick. i think the suspension of the hustler would be a little easier to control, but not quite as much ground clearance, i hear they are winning turnys now though =)

really? even with more weight and less ground clearance, the suspension feel and control makes up for all of that? thats hardcore. i've been wanting to build one, started wanting to build a stick, then the hustler, then i wasnt sure. still debating, lol

I dunno about the "less ground clearance" With the droop suspension you probably have even more clearance in the end.

the stick is OK, but i have seen many people get into trouble at comps with it. too much articulation at times. also, as far as i know, the stick is only available in a 16 inch wheelbase. all of us so-cal guys with hustlers are running 17.5" plus wheelbases with great success.
