  • nice one

  • these Disel Suburban are POS because they took the Gasoline engine and made them Disel which was a big problem, which led to Lemon.

  • @sideslide23 - Wrong. The 6.2L was purpose-designed by Detroit Diesel from the ground up, not to be confused with a 5.7L Oldsmobile, which was not a converted gas engine either, contrary to popular belief. The Oldsmobile diesel's problems were mainly associated with people not understanding the differences in driving a diesel engine versus a gasoline engine.

  • @Mysterio2276 30 years ago, My dad had a problem with his Diesel Oldsmobile station wagon. he broke down allot and he said that the diesel Oldsmobile was a POS.

  • @sideslide23 - The original 350 D block engine did indeed have problems, which were rectified in the DX block. But again, uninformed masses who do not understand that diesels are different than gas engines were partly to blame. Either way, your previous statement that the diesel Suburbans are POS because they converted gas engine to diesel, is incorrect. Neither the 5.7 Oldsmobile (they were offered for a couple years in trucks) nor the 6.2 is a converted gas engine, they are purpose-designed.

  • not bad. a lot better than i expected. what series flowmasters are on it?

  • nice Suburban
