Sweetback picked the PERFECT artists to represent their work. I'll bet that when this song was in the works, one of em heard Amel Larrieux!!!

Too bad Sweetback didn't put out more music as a band. They were tremendous both as producers and a backing band. They definitely had a different groove that I still enjoy. This is a great track to start your day on.
