  • wow, i filmed this when i was 9 or 10...

  • runway 06 is facing towards the ocean while in runway 24 you'll have to make a turn near the skyway and land the plane

  • sad thats the biggest...

  • philippines airline company declared, philippines airlines airbus A380 come in 2013

  • panno kyo sa tarmac?

  • Calm down, people. You are ALL bloody experienced pilots :P

(Who couldn't even pass for PPL hehehe)

  • calm down people. we all fly small planes :P

  • I didn't really grasp the speed and size of this...it looks as if it's simply gliding through the air, and the enormity of it isn't truly realized until you see the bus in the frontground that looks like an ant.

  • why is it noisy? ^^

  • the A320 on hold silences the sound of those GP7200s..grt vid.

  • There is no such thing as a bad landing. All landings are good unless the plane crashed on landing, sumthing broke upon landing, sumone died or injured upon landing, or at least the landing almost resulted in an incident. Clearly, that A380 that landed at NAIA is a good landing because nothing bad happened. Its a normal landing. One more thing, i've been in NAIA for a long time watching planes land and the spot that that A380 touched down is the usual place that most planes touch down. Peace =)

  • he means, the landing shot... :)

    not the "landing" exactly...

  • if you really are an experienced pilot, it doesn't matter whether you land by an inch or a mile, landing is landing...

it's a case to case basis especially if there is a tailwind during that time, what matters most is that you stop before running out of runway or abort and pull up again...

  • waaa he landed too far from the white stripe lines..i think this is a bad landing for them..

  • So what do you want them to do? bring down the plane for a very hard touch down??? It's not a bad landing,,, it's even a smooth landing...

  • if groove005 is the pilot,,I better to cancelled my flight,,baka sa sobrang husay niya, sumemplang kami sa ere!hehehe,,I'm going back to Philippines ,,yeheyy!!

  • GOOOOOOD!

  • grove005? then who are you to judge that landing? are you a pilot huh? try to drive an airplane before you react like that.

  • Oh ok.... I'm actually getting my commercial pilot license now... so don't judge me either...

  • He freaking Overshooted the landing.... Bad landing... He shoulda landed on the white stripe lines.... BAD LANDING FOR ME... OVERSHOOTED like 300 feet......

  • landing on the white stripe is not at all a good spot for landing. ask a pilot

  • I meant like 10 feet away from the white stripe lines.... because he overshooted like 100 feet away from the white stipe lines...

  • Oh yeah??? Try to land an A380 with your boasting skill... A380 pilots are well trained,,, if they know that they will overshoot the runway, they would have gone around and landed again,,, that's why they are having a test flight in landing on our strips!!! And don't be too boastful with your license because you will just start with a small plane like an A318 or A319 or something!!!

  • crikey!

  • pag sumabog yan dame ren patay !!! wakekekek

  • ano kaya iniisip nung piloto nung PAL na yun? someday, m gonna pilot that plane too. hehehe...

  • FYI: ndi hamak na mas magagling ang Filipino Pilots kaysa American and European, mamaniin lang ng mga Pinoy Pilots ang pag handle ng A380, smooth na smooth ang touch-down nyan i bet!

  • agree agree

  • If they didn't expect the A380 to come in that day, then their eyes would've bugged out. I could imagine the pilot the plane that was next to take off caught a glimpse of the beast and would have said - "WTF - did you see that?"

  • so nag-visit pala ang A380 sa manila?

  • nope runway 6

  • @devillan10 its runway 24

  • Yes this 800 seater plane can land at manila but according to airbus test personnels who were on board the a380 that landed here in manila said that the terminals and the necessary facilities can't meet the standards for an Airbus A380-800.... =)

  • This is Runway 24

  • yep

  • im glad pal is gonna get one! cant wait to fly with my crew!! yipee!

  • PAL will get an A380? guessing 2014

  • hehehe..2020 kaya?

  • @devillan10 NO NOT 2014 ITS 2015

  • What a great location for plane watching! How do you get into that area. Is it strictly controlled? Is there a certain fee to enter villamor?

  • Definitely a 5 star....

  • pls put comments

  • Here's one from me. This is a really nice video. Thank you for sharing it, I didnt see the footage of the actual landing, Im in EUrope and I was at work at that time. So thank you.

  • the A380 pass over south super highway before landing at run way 24 seconds later

  • i'm glad they visited our country. was it to actually test our country's airports to see if the a380 can operate in our airports?? plans for the super airport in clark to be a380 operational?? or was it to advertise and see if PAL will try at it??

  • i knew it land in my country

  • its touring around the world ryt? i think after clark, its going to dubai.

  • Philippine Airlines. Interested?

  • i thought so too. it made me so excited when PAL came across my mind, or even cebu pacific, heard they were trying or contemplating transpacific, possibly N. America. it would be an excellent choice and alternative to PAL. kind of like Asiana and Korean airlines or Japan and ANA. wondered what kind of services they will provide and how the cabins would be layed out. either ways, PAL or Cebu Pacific, it's absolutely exciting to just think about it. we can just hope and remain enthusiastic. (",)

  • Hmm... Philippine Air Force. Interested?

pwede pang paradrop to sa mindanao. Perfect for COIN Op.

    Peace ;3
