@hash626 I'm no expert at this but I've seen modern conversions to past cars done already..maybe you can..You'll probably need new harness, ecu, wiring and dash..probably new engine mounts, intake and exhaust fabrication due to lack of space since rx8 seems to have a taller engine bay.. + OBD2 conversion..lot of things to do..but probably possible :) hope that helped
this might be the wrong place to ask this question, slightly off topic perhaps. but can 2004 rx-8 motor be easily swaped into a 2nd gen rx7? both motors are 1.3 liter so it seems possible. the rx8 motors have 238 hp compared to my 160 ('91 rx7 cp non turbo)
