Main character and female character escape the apes (I honestly forgot their names, been a while). Throughout the whole movie, they think they are on a different planet where monkeys rule the world instead of humans. Anywho, when they are riding the horse along the beach away from the monkeys, they encounter a strange, ruined statue. After main character says "Damn you! Damn you all to Hell!!" The camera shifts to reveal the statue is the Statue of Liberty.
