  • Top tune! The Manchester boys were doing it

  • Oh man ... many thx for posting!!! I haven't listened to that song since the late 80's ... reminds me of my clubbing times ... yeah, i feel very happy now :)

  • can you post the other version of this song with the "pump up the volume" vocals in it....its a rare album that not too many people were able to get their hands on.

  • Oh what bliss to listen to a clean, well looked after and well presented sound quality based product...

I jus been over to HouseMasters on 'Do It Properly' which was sooo piss poor on the sound I had to rip into them to be honest... a sophisticated classic House track and they ruined it by jus bein plain lazy ... and relying on their namesake to get the hit rate - not realising that their name is the only reason for their hit rate...

    Fekkin' rant there over...

  • Stu Allan Picadilly Key 103 ..Deary Deary top notch this.

  • can you post the version with the "pump up the volume lyric" in it!!

  • Classic Mike Pickering!

  • Another great House classic which featured on 'Best of House' Vol.1 and again took the repetition side to greater lengths, especially with a piano riff... great journey music this and the track was a little over 8 mins in total and really raises the hairs on the back of your neck towards the end... amazing!! ...well chuffed

  • If your refering to the 1988 one that came out on profile records, its a different version and thats exactly the one that I'm looking for that no one seems to have a clue as to what I'm talking about everytime I ask someone to post it. I'm just too cheap to buy it lol!!

  • I think it's already been posted. skki3330 posted a version over 9 min long, check it.

  • that's not it. It had the "pump up the volume" vocals in it from Rakim and its waaaaaay better than this version but of course thats just an opinion and its a rare record!! It was on the best of house music volume 1 1988 only on cassette!! I threw the cassette away thinking it would be easy to find later on.....boy was I stupid.

  • You got the fever :) .....good luck with the hunt.

  • Lol, thx...my friend (pal joey) has the record but I dont like asking him for anything. Its always a big deal with him!!

  • very thank ! i love forever this track ! holdschool underground dance music forever.

je l'ai connu en club en 87 et sa fait plus de 20ans que j'en suis fou !!! merci pour la stereo !!! fractibet(sf313)

  • You're welcome and thanks for the comment. I'm glad you're enjoying the tunes. :)

  • Oh man. Well, as I hav said before here, I teened on Tamla, danced to disco/jazz/funk and got SO into House in 1987 even thou, by then, I was 34.

Still luvvin dance stuff now... it's just in me.... but BEST times were 1986-1995 ~ and those tunes still live on. House stuff now isn't the same. Keep doin it mate.
