The old KITT is way cooler than the new Mustang-computer-crap-thing. It was rough and tough, but could be damaged, which was more realistic. The Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is the most beautiful car ever built (generation 1-3). The Mustang is nice, too...but not THAT cool looking.

Putting the technologie aside, theres only one true diffrence between the 1982 and the 2008 version and thats KITT's personality!

1982: kitt was technical but had an amazing sence of humor and had feelings in a way. He bonded at the same time with michael also he helped ppl . Like tht guy he gave 5$ to and tht guy bough a lottery ticket and became a millionar. also he could get any info he needed

2008: KITT has less to do with the show in a way. He can tell how exacly there feeling wich is co

exelente trabajo pero la version de los 80s es mucho mejor que la copia barata del mustang ademas la nueva version es de muy bajo presupuesto y el trans am 82 es mas carro que el mustang gt de plastico yo tuve un trans am 82 y nada que ver con esta version barata antes destruian los carros casi todo era real y ahora nada que ver...

i can't say which of them is better, i haven't seen Knight Rider 2008, but i have seen Knight Rider from 1982, i own it, but i love both KITT's, but KITT's voice in 1982 is much more funny than the 2008 voice of KITT, i wish would more of Knight Rider :)
