  • @firechicken76 to be honoust how hard was this im thinking about doing a 5.3 in mine bored and ls intake and stuff?

  • @Mr1987GTA I didnt do it, but i know its not very hard, all the parts you need are sold by a few places, harness adapter, motor mounts, headers, trans x member etc, Do it, it will be the best thing you have ever dont to that car.

  • We don't need a soundtrack to every fucking video,.

  • @irocdreamer there are only 2 videos I have that have songs in them you retard.

  • holy swap! thats sick wicked living under the hood! I'd love to do this myself!, great song for the vid, much justice! this vid deserves thumbs up all day!

  • Cut a hole in that battery tray for the air filter!

  • Did you do the motor swap your self?

  • @rdrncak2091 Nah, previous owner did it, he did a great job, motor and trans had 25k on it when he swapped them.

  • where did you go for the intake parts? the tubes and filter.

  • @weavgrass I actually didnt do the intake setup, the previous owner did, his sn on here is tuske427.

  • nice motor... 350 sbc?

  • @CharlesDeCapua you have never heard of the ls1? they arent 350's. they are 5.7 though.

  • @firechicken76 i kno my dad told me what an ls1 is but i couldn't remember what size it is. i got so used to saying the number of cubic inches of the small block motors if you kno what i mean. by the way me and my family own third generation trans ams. we have four of them

  • @CharlesDeCapua The correct cubic inch for them is 346, which actually is a 5.7, just like the old 350's. they are just a modern small block, all aluminum, get good gas millage, and make good power, check out my other vids if you want.

  • @firechicken76 I have to disagree. CiD is measured by the bore and stroke, A 350LT1 has a 4' bore x a 3.48 stroke which means 349.8 CiD. an LS1 has a bore of 3.903 x stroke 3.662. That's a 347. So the term "Just like the old 350s" is way off. They are two totally different powerplants. Not trying to be a jerk, just built quiet a few strokers in my life.

  • @GetsumJ you missunderstood what i meant, or you used it out of context. when i said "Just like the old 350s", i was only refering that they shared the same Liter size, I know ls1's are much different. they dont even have the same degree of cylinder heads, fireing order or bore/stroke.

  • @firechicken76 No offense, but when you are modifying cylinders, the actual liters is important. A true 350 Cid is actually 5.735 Liters and a true 347 is 5.686 :iters. GM labeled them 5.7s. Ford however used the correct formula (4.6 vs 5.0) No offense, but when you turn a SBC into a 352,355, 377,383,395,406,408,420, or a 434 stroker you have to kinda know these things. So a blanket statement stating the share the same liter size is a misconception. Every Liter has to be engineered correctly.

  • @GetsumJ your putting way too much thought into this, ALL I MEANT is that they are both considered 5.7, i understand they have different bores and strokes and make different cubic inches.

  • @CharlesDeCapua technically its a 347 i think...

  • @gloredo200 346-347 is correct, people assume it's a 350 because its a 5.7, but 5.7 can range from 346-350.

  • Who gave it a disslike? probably dont have the kahoonaz to say they did.
