Thanks for making this video. Last month our GE motor (series 100 B&G pump) became faulty due to a failing internal start switch. I bought a "Mars" 1/8 HP motor on Ebay, described as a B&G replacement. It fits perfectly but is a little noisy in operation. I attribute it to being a cheaper motor. I ended up removing it from its frame (identical to your motor setup) and installing the motor in the existing GE frame.
Why not loosen the coupler set screw first? wouldn't have to balance the motor in one hand while working the Allen wrench.

Great video !!!!!! 18bucks 1/2 hr time and my water pump is up and running.post more videos.maybe zone valve replacement or system purge.
