Nice tutorial. Next time give the people the actual chord names. It'll teach them more things at once. Like the c moved up two frets is a D just a different inversion. Good job
Amazing tutorial! yeah could do a bit more on the sound quality but fuck, you've given out a bunch of improvs for the guitars so not complaining at all.
The best way to learn this is to just jam through it!
hey is there tab that goes with this lesson? its a great lesson, and i would find that it would help if something was more written down. so off of an online tab website??... if so w=could i have the link? but if u did it by ear you are a god. :D thanks!
Your intro chords are wrong, your chorus is wrong, well its right if you want to play it the easy way, but that kind of defeats the purpose of learning a Dave song doesn't it?
i want to ask you if you can make a intructive video about the song "i Could kick your ass" by Justin moore. On the cd song, justin makes some second guitar cord for the intro and solo, o you think you can do that and show it to me
you probably have to try to mute the "open" strings that your hearing. Dave uses extensive muting in all of his songs so that only the specific strings ring out during many of his chords. This is especially true when he uses unconventional chords, like in this song. Try that, let me know if it works
I think he meant the less than symbol (<), as that is how you would render that in html. He is just pointing to the (D U). Of course correct me if I am wrong.
hey man, thanks a ton...this is my absolute favorite Dave song and I always wondered how to play it. I just started out playing guitar and I'm trying to teach myself a little further...this is a challenge for me to play, but I relish in it since it's my favorite, thanks!
Haha no problem man, thanks I'm glad it helped. I'd have to agree with you, this is also my favorite Dave song. I just saw him play a 15 minute version of it in omaha last week, it was insane haha. The more you practice, the easier it will be!
Yes!

hey did you do all of this by ear? or did you use an online tab of some sort?
i love this song and this video is really great, but it would help having tab on the side to help out. can you let me know? thanks! :D

Your not playing it right, intro and chorus chords are wrong. Your playing it the easy way, learn the stretch.

@MrMattsucksatguitar So, when are you going to post your video of #41 being played correctly?
