I dont know why people are so negative, I have been taking pallets apart for years for small garden project, and I always spilt about 1/3 of them, so looking up the correct way to do it is a great idea.
wow guess i better give my opinion on how to take a pellet about as well and post it on youtube too!! i realy think if someone wanted to take a pellet apart they'll use what ever means works for them!!!

Unnecessary negative critique, me thinks.
If you have never taken a pallet apart, this video has a lot of information.
Myself, I'll prefer using a heavy hammer than a crowbar. But it may depend on the wood of the pallet.
(What? a girl? girls dont do woodworking!! ;) )
