  • i learned my turbo shootyness from contra

  • why doesn't wily put this in his castle?

  • 1:27 to 1:37

EL BULLSHITTO Thank god you were so high up!

  • @CaptainCrunchityzer We will see then :D

  • how did u do that super charge

  • can't you super charge the mega buster?

  • Comment removed

  • i have only 96 screens but my goal is 1000 XD

  • there sure are a lot of reminiscent stages in endless mode. MM1's Wily stage 1 intro, MM2's Wily stage 3 spike gauntlet, I'm pretty sure Heatman's disappearing/reappearing block segment's in there.

  • the bad thing in this game is that you can't charge the buster :( or can you?

  • @supremesonicbrazil Well, not if you're using Megaman. If you download Protoman VIA the same way as the endless stage, you can charge your buster and slide.

  • Be honest:

Did anybody else immediately think of "cum shot" when you first read C. Shot? Seeing that was probably the funniest Mega Man moment I've had.

  • @originosity it is crescent shot from X5

  • Those first few screens remind me of Dr Wily's stage in MM1.

  • yeahhh My record is 59 screens so far ^^ MIckey-HP look me up if you don't believe me!!!! :P

  • watching a capcom bonus game makes me laugh because they are all similar, for example, in re5 theres versus/mercenaries, in bionic commando rearmed theres challenge rooms, now in mega man 9...there the endless stage. All packed with great music

  • I'm going to spoil it for all the new megaman players. The reason he shoots so fast is because he knows the M. Buster's limitation. You can only have 3 bullets on screen at any given time. (like how Mario can only have 2 fireballs on screen).

  • I thought Capcom made some MM9 NES cart limited edition whatever or made a box with the joke box-art or some shit. I'd look it up, but I half don't care for MM. Perhaps that's Sakurai's fault for letting the MM inclusion talks break down.

Wait, fuck, I sort of forgot where I was going that... Xp

  • MegaMan 1 Wily Stage 1 reference :D

  • mi record in endless screen is 145 screens

  • my friend always says c shot stands for c-m shot XD

  • I say the C is short for Censor.

As in, you don't need to censor yourself on the internet, nonetheless YouTube.

  • man i just noticed the first 5 screens r exactly like Wily stage 1 from Mega Man 1

  • 7:23 too bad

  • So what's the record on this mode? Like 10,250 screens or something?

  • Don't put too much stock into those records. They definitely reek of the gameshark & the PAR

  • xbox can't shoot that fast

  • 6:05 now that's fucked up.

  • FINAL SCORE: 52 screens

  • Does anyone know where I cand a Mega Man 9 NES cartridge?

  • yous kan lyke finds its at those fleas markets and stuffz.

    noob

  • it's only on ebay for way to much. it's very rare so it may not be. trust me the game is good enough without it

  • @ericmsandoval This is for Wii...

  • There is no NES cartridge. This game was made for WiiWare and XBox LIVE, not the NES. So unless someone takes the time to hack the data onto a cartridge, you'll never find one.

  • noooooooooooooo0o0o0o0o0o0o0oooo

  • Perhaps, but out of the 3 major consoles on the market, the PS3 is currently at the bottom. For the time being the Wii is on top, most likely due to the way Nintendo shortships their product to keep them in demand for a ridiculously long time

  • @ThirdOfClubs The wii is in more demand because it's cheaper and appeals to casual gamers. That's the reason. PS3 and 360 are at least as guilty of shortshipping as nintendo.

  • There is a Mega Man 9 NES cartridge but you can't play it. You can find it on ebay.

  • If you had only used Jewel Satellite...it kills those things you died on and gives health

  • this level is probably like 5 hours long... and super hard so no one can pass it

  • It's as long as you want it to be. You can clear every room, but it'll just repeat itself.

  • This is like Endless(including Survival and Combo Challenge) on DDR, where you keep groving until your dance meter runs out.

  • How can a level be endless? D:

    Is it randomly-generated?

It has to be otherwise this wouldn't work...

  • i never got far enough to know, but I believe there's a set amount of rooms, and after clearing them, you just sort of cycle through them again. or else it's randomly done. In either case, there aren't and infinite number of rooms, you just never get to an end, the rooms keep recurring, as do the bosses every few rooms. I THINK. someone else could probably tell you with more certainty.

  • What iff all the mini levels in MM 1 through 9 were connected with warp tunnuls, just like that, and Dr. Wily's castle was not? That would be one LOOOONG castle on the way to fighting his big bosses, and Dr. Wily, himself, and a huge map, too. I wish Capcom would use the warp tunnel concept for Megaman 10. I imagine the sequel to Megaman 9 would have to be super duper hard without warp tunnels! Can Capcom make the "X" series with warp tunnels. too? I'd love to see that.
  • They really should have put a level editor in the game, not only Powered up should have an editor

There would be levels uploaded up the ass

  • @za909 yeah, it would've been easy too, what with the simplified graphics and all. Then again, if people made their own levels, how would the Mega Man team ever sell sequels? By reinventing the franchise? lol Much easier for them to just keep making their own rehashes of their past games.

  • who would waste their time going through 10,3XX screens? also nice job on this but when your low on health/power, start farming

  • "Ice blocks? In the *magnet* level? You're making it too hard for the kids."

    "What kids?!"

  • the world record of the most screns is 10,3XX i cant remember the last 2 digits but yeah THAT IS A LOT

  • Yeah that "record" reeks of a gameshark.

  • Well they actually verify its not any cheat engines like gameshark or actionreplay or anything like that before they send it they probably would grind for health at every 5th screen

  • I dunno. ten thousand plus screens kinda sounds suspect. gameshark suspect.

  • Eh doubtfully they could get pass the verification but MAYBE

  • There were no two last digits. This is Mega Man. I mean, if it already takes place in the year 20XX, why do we need to be exact?

  • No im talking about the highest score for frames some one recorded them all

  • But it's Mega Man. So the two last digits are XX.

  • Im not talking the year Megaman took place in dumbass im talking about a record

  • The person utterly failing to get my joke, given multiple passes at it, is calling me a dumbass because he assumes I cannot understand the simple fact he stated several posts ago and cannot even begin to comprehend that a person could make a joke about the way he chose to end it with two Xs after such a ridiculous and probably made-up number.

Just stop. You didn't get the joke and that's okay. We don't have to bring further insults into this lovely evening. Just walk away. Okay, pengy?

  • Okay if you told me it was a joke then i would've gotten it im more into sketch comedies like whose line so sorry i thought you didn't know what i wastalking about okay im not one of the ones that likes "intellectual jokes" but any sorry if i called you a dumbass i thought you didnt know what I meant.

  • Thank you. I appreciate your maturity of response.

  • the first part was wily stage 1 from mm1

  • Bubbleman? Iceman?

    Where?

  • I know right. I have a record of over 1600 screens. I've seen every single room in the game. The description is misleading.

  • IS the level randomly generated or the same all the time? Or how does it work being endless and all?

  • Is this DLC?

  • everyone asking "how do you fire so fast?!"....if you grew up in the late 80's early 90's you're a button mashing master(you had to be to kick ass at all the NES megamans...and BigFoot for NES)

  • I grew up playing all the Mario Partys, now I'm a button masher professional, but all my N64 and Gamecube controllers are dead. XD

  • hell im 13 and i can button mash

i still have an nes and snes and learnd how to button mash by playing megaman x2

and i still play them to this day on the original systems

  • @BlakeTahoe yeah! you are right! we can hit at least a few shot in one second without turbo controller.

  • @BlakeTahoe

Or it's just got a turbo button.

  • @seanileus Yeah, the more likely option is definitely the turbo button.

  • @BlakeTahoe Just like me. This was before the specially made rapid fire controllers came out.

  • @BlakeTahoe Im pretty sure I could fire that fast by age 5 hahahaha. Go 1980-90's

  • @BlakeTahoe Quoted For Truth

  • Comment removed

  • @Vile75 well arent you cool(im not going to add a goofy emot face to even pretend like im kidding either)

  • Comment removed

  • @BlakeTahoe Lol, what did Vile75 type? His comments have been removed.

  • @torasbjoern haha he wrote "well actually its not THAT hard to fire that fast :P..........."bein all cocky and shit...until i served him that is

  • @BlakeTahoe Nice done, BlakeTahoe. :)

  • @torasbjoern thanks haha

  • @BlakeTahoe Yeah I remember that and I will never go back to it, Nintendo thumbs are not worth it.

  • The first five screens are from Wily stage 1 from Mega-man 1 on the NES.

  • 52 screens. on your first try. WOW.

  • You do know that you can SHOOT those green floor-things around 7:30 to stun them momentarily...right?

  • stun them? Well, covering them in a concrete shot to eliminate them is more useful sometimes XD (Too bad Concrete Shot has such a small amount of shots... D: )

  • It's actually better NOT to stun them to get past them in that particular area. The ceiling is so low, if you stunned them and then jumped, you could potentially hit it and take damage. If it's moving, you can jump over it while it's moving beneath you, with good timing.

I personally just save myself the trouble my either using Rush Jet underwater or a well aimed Concrete Shot.

  • everytime i watch this, i feel nostalgic

  • I always use b. bomb on the part you died on. It's probably easily avoidable somehow but I like to play it safe

  • Just walk to the far left side and climb up. No need for weapons here. I do it every time easily.

  • that song is epic

  • @yungflyguy91

What? I found the music to be quite disappointing, compared to the rest of the soundtrack.. Its the worst song in megaman 9, if you ask me.

  • Is endles stage Willy fortreses 1-8 ?

  • When you got stuck around 0:50 you should have used concrete shot to get to the top

  • I dont remember this from Mega Man 9? how did you get to this?

  • Its an addon you buy for the game off LIVE/The PSN, its something like £2!

  • you have to download it 200 MSP

  • how can you fire that fast?

  • Skill.

Most people on youtube have played Megaman since they where a kid so they know what they're doing.

  • this is for ps3 and its ten bucks i have it

  • And wii, and 360...

  • should i get this MM IX off the PSN bud?

  • do u have to buy this mode?

  • yes

  • No that's what you call a Megaman beat! That's a great track

  • Sorry, let me rephrase. This is an almost exact replica of the first parts of the final levels of all the other games. Sorry for the confusion.

  • Does anybody know what this stage is!?!? It's an ALMOST EXACT replica of the Wily Stage from Mega Man 1! I Knew this right away the first time i saw the Laser Trident blocks. Wow. AMAZING!

  • i love 8 bit! well actually i like all graphics but 8 bit was what started it all! and hey, im 13!

  • Did you mean to type 'gamer' or 'grammar'?

You probably meant gamer, so I will answer your question like that.

Oh, just because we're younger we can't be called gamers? Even if we play tons of games?

  • (the magma bazooka)

  • like at 4:38 how did you charge that?or can you just do it normally and i never knew that?

  • how can you charge your blaster?

  • mm9 was made for the old school fans of mega man 1-6. 7 and 8 were good, but us retro gamers missed the classic hard as hell 8 bit mega man games. so, capcom brought us mega man 9. HELL YEAH!!! it is hard as hell just like the first 6. 7 and 8 were too easy. then theres rockman and forte for the snes( which was released in 1998 then finally released in america on the gba as mega man and bass). that was the only hard 16 bit mega man game. mm8 was on playstation, but was still too easy.

  • hell yeah nothing can beat 8-bit...and Im born in 88....kids today don't know what they were missin...this is what started it all

  • i hear that. modern platform games are getting soft on us. compare mario galaxy to frikken super mario 3.

  • 8 bit was the way to go. The 8 bit megaman games were and always will be the best of the series. 1-6 had a great amount of difficulty, and they're the only ones I have on my DS.

    Woohoo for 8 bit! ^_^

  • you can get mega man games on the DS...?

  • Yeah, just get a DS flash card, slap an NES emulator on it, dump the megaman game roms on it, and voila, you have retro gaming on the go!

    ^_^

  • where can i get a flash card? and i have a DSi (lost my old DS) so do i need a different flash cvard for it?

  • You're gonna probably need an Acekard 2i. I don't know where they sell them, you might have to order it online.

I use Games 'n' Music because it was cheap and it was at Wal-Mart. It works well enough, and it can play almost any NES game perfectly. Games 'n' Music is for the original and lite DS, however...

  • can you use it on r4ds card aswel? and does it work for gba games?

  • Yes, it does work on an R4, but GBA games do not work regardless of the flahcart, unless you purchase a flashcart that goes in the GBA slot.

  • ok i keep that in mind, gonna test the nes games now

  • btw can you pm me an explanation? because it does not wrok:) matbe i am doing something wrong

  • 0:28 Part from Wily stage 1 from MM1 : /

  • I need to grab this game asap...

    nostalgia here it comes!

  • does any1 think this game is better than megaman2? i might buy it on the wii, but megaman2 is cheaper

  • I think it's better, but MM2 is my second favorite. I'd be sure to get Protoman, Endless, and the extra stage for the full game though (difficulties...meh, the game is hard enough as Proto)

  • not bad i say.

  • Read the description

  • just got the game, so how do you fire so fast?(using the wii remote???

  • You only need one tool: skill.

  • can u fight tornado man in the endless stage because he's the only boss out of the 8 who i havent fought

  • i love this game i have it and i downloaded endles stage, special stage and protoman mode i love this game protoman mode is hard but i love a good challenge i'll have to make megaman 9 videos too ^_^ 5 stars the most i got was 15 lol

  • He said that in the description

  • i got 73 screens most

  • I know this is gonna' sound nooby but. What is the main controller scheme for Wii?

  • Maze of Death, that track is awesome.

  • well he didn't break my record i did 320 screens that was the most game i can do

  • yes i finally got past 100 screens. that was my goal and i would have succeeded earlier if those ugly spikes werent there at 7:32 (the ones hanging on the platform) it gets repetitive tho and ive played every screen (although I have never battled Tornado Man on endless attack).

  • did any1 notice where the first few screens were originally from??

  • yes the first screen is from mega man original wilys 1 level, at 1:37 it reminds me of Bubble Mans stage (cuz the spikes and narrow passages), and ive seen heat mans stage revisited (almost) on here as well.

  • Wily's castle too, when you break the blocks, and then the lasers.. Though you freeze the fire in megaman 2 :P

  • wtf my high score is like 10 screans if i am lucky god damn it

i got like 20 once but i got a bunch of easy ones

  • HAHAHAno. This is an endless stage, you can't finish it.

  • My highest was 241 screens.

  • Congratulations on your bad taste.

  • yea, and hows that?

  • the 8-bit megaman games have smoother gameplay, something that megaman 8 did not have, the controls felt a bit off, and graphics dont make the game, gameplay, music and quality is what makes the game, and no duh megaman 8 had better graphics, but like i said, graphics dont make the difference.

  • why are you even replying to that guy, he's not gonna listen anyways. but i totally agree with you.

  • Eh, you might have missed the whole X-saga then. Which seems to have killed the traditional megaman saga. What would you have them do? Mirror the X-saga?

MM7 sucked big time. 8 was kinda neat, but it was fairly shadowed by MMX4, I think.

If you don't understand why they made this game you may have been to young to experience old school megaman in its prime.

  • mm7 was great :(

  • that first part (before the first teleporter) looks excactly like the first part of the first dr. wily level in megaman 1.

  • lol yea, that because it is...

  • That looks great!!!! I might get that download!

  • I'd be so pissed at 6:09

Mega Man 9 is so tough, i'm on Wily Castle Stage 3... I'll get Endless Stage when I complete it, but damn this looks EPIC...

Capcom, the only company that still cares about their fans(Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Mega Man, Bionic Commando... what's next a Dino Crisis revival?)

  • I glad to see the blue bomber back in classic form. I'm half tempted to get a 360 for this and a few titles from the live arcade. I'm also glad to see a game based on game play instead of graphics.

  • Determine which you'd rather want first.

This game is available on PS3, Wii and 360.

The Wii is the most stable console, the selection of games though is more axed towards groups then solo.

The PS3 is strong and very stable, the selection of game is a bit skinnier but it's starting to get a very robust taste.

The 360 is diverse and unstable, the selection of game is massive, but the console will break, even if you get the so called 'elite' versions.

  • My friend has one still running fine from the 'defective' batch (though mine from same said batch died less than a year, though the replacement has lasted for 2-3 years now)

Personally, the Wii lacks many good games and mine really is only used for VC these days

PS3, while gaining momentum, still doesn't have as many good games out for it (though I'd drop 300-400 just for little big planet if I could splurge)

360 has the largest selection of games with a well done and supported online service.

  • I love the music! :)

  • When you pass 100 screens it gets kinda boring though :)
