  • @stein11wolf That is pretty disturbing.

  • I played the game and got off thinking about it..........after my 3 months porn therapy

  • To the moon was an unforgettable experience in gaming. Even an unforgettable story. It comes close to a gaming masterpiece in my eyes.

  • @Trickndel it is a gaming masterpiece

  • One person cried too much, and got watery eyes and couldn't judge where the like button was located and accidentally hit the dislike. Its okay, we forgive him :)

  • @ImARocker75 It's being content. It's a weird feeling but probably one of the best :)

  • finished the game yesterday. it was so good I don't feel like Fapping today..

  • Never before has a video game reduced me to tears. I never thought it would happen, but it did. Damn good game though. Beautiful story.

  • I can legit imagine a movie based on this game... MAKE IT HAPPEN HOLLYWOOD/BOLLYWOOD/WHOEVER HAS TEH BALLZ TO MAKE TO THE MOON: THE MOVIE :D

  • I am the guy who disliked this video. You would too if it made you start crying at the office in front of everybody at work.

  • @rabidbeavir hah... fair enough man. Fair enough. I can't blame ya.

  • @rabidbeavir You just said everything about that game : )

  • Not many musical pieces move me to tears.. this did. Well done.

  • One guy is still on Earth...

  • Darren Aronofsky should make a movie! :)

  • A To The Moon anime must be made. Quickly

  • @Linkdarkness I second that and I request that the guys behind Ef - A Tale of Memories or the ones behind Toradora make that anime.

  • Best game of the year. Done.

Welcome among masterpieces, To the Moon, you deserve it.

  • The moment i heard this play when i booted up the game.. I knew this was goin to be an unforgettable game.. And it truly was..

  • Rape the replay button. *.*

  • Childhood friends, distant promises, terminal illnesses, last wishes, medical bill problems, stares into the starlights at night, talk of dreams = To The Moon

  • That hardest thing i've ever done is not saving a child from a burning building or rushing a pregnant woman to the E.R but trying to hold my tears when playing this game......

  • this game should be out for DS

  • "God, it's so hard to be a smartass nowadays." Dr. Neil Watts

  • I really want to play this music in piano music but there is no sheet for it if anyone is nice enough to provide a piano sheet then I will upload a video of this beautiful music.

  • What an amazing game

  • anyone have sheet musics of this OST?

  • Simply amazing.

  • After playing "To the Moon" I will punch ANYONE who thinks video games will never match films in terms of telling stories.

  • @MrAnicon Given that it pretty much IS a movie, I don't think it's exactly a prime example of video game storytelling.

  • @mahatmagandhiful

nevertheless, this is a beautiful story with depth that greatly exceeds what most people expect from video games. and even though it has little gameplay, It had just enough to get you personally involved in the story to a certain point. I think that was the goal of presenting such a story in such a manner.

  • @mahatmagandhiful

The only problem is that it's not a movie. If the product has any emphasis on interactivity then it's a video game, or in other words, interactive entertainment. I hate it when people feel the need to shorten the potential and versatility of the industry because of such a silly word: "games." The day movies become interactive, is the day they become games.

Anyway, great game, while it didn't exactly change my life, it did leave an impression on me.

  • @MrAnicon you should play planescape:torment

  • @MrAnicon so true, mate.

  • @MrAnicon

I enjoyed To the Moon a whole lot. I laughed, i cried, i cringed at the uncomfortable jokes. But when it isn't as much of a game really. The only thing you have to do to progress the story is pretty much clicking (and the ocasional not related to the story puzzle) and at that point you might as well be watching a movie or reading a book.

The story is nothing short of amazing, but the "game" part is pretty much non-existant and it would be hard to use this as an example.

  • @MrAnicon games have surpassed movies, books in story telling.only those who have played this game(and those who r gamers)know how to value this DIAMOND thats named as...to the moon.(even the title is amazing.its like a portal to a magical world)

  • @MrAnicon

ya but despite having a really compelling story "To the moon" in all honesty had some of the shittiest gameplay out there. I still enjoyed the hell out of it, but just saying. I'm also not saying video games can't tell a good story cause there are plenty out there.

  • @MrAnicon

After playing "To the Moon" I will NEVER punch anyone, no matter the nature of a disagreement.

I just feel grateful for having experienced such a beautiful story, exploring the fragile, bittersweet nature of the human condition.

The true value of a life is too great to be reduced to arguments and hate.

There's beauty in love, there's beauty in loss, we're perfect in our imperfection.

"The world would be alot more beautiful if people remembered faces more"

  • @MrAnicon

You should play metal gear solid series if you liked this game...

MGS is my favourite game for PS1, MGS2 is favourite for PS2...

I think they are beautiful, and Hideo Hojima is genius...

I even cried little bit during all of those games...

They have very deep story and brings back some kind of good memories from my childhood

  • @pufixas

Uhhh, not saying I hate MGS or anything, but I don't think liking to the moon would mean you would like MGS lol

  • @ImDiddyKongFTW

    I agree, but...

Yeah I have nothing to say :D

  • @MrAnicon i already believed video games and movies were on par for story telling, but after this, anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot

  • @MrAnicon I think everyone here agrees! :o)

  • @MrAnicon IMO this surpasses movies :D

  • @MrAnicon

I agree with others. This surpasses many films I have seen. By far.

  • @MrAnicon And i will help you

  • @MrAnicon
