WOOOWWWW! NEARLY LIKE THE ORIGINAL WITH COMPLETE BTO.... But still better! And the wonderful guitars from FRED and RANDY and the fantastic voice ffomr FRED, Oh my, I grow crazy1 THanks for loading up, you made me very happy
Awesome! BTO rocked in the 70's and still rocks now. Stat 101 at BGSU in 1974 with the Blue Collar question and Dr. Ralph St. John, Professor of Statistics. Too cool!
Unbelievable! These are randy bachman and Fred Turner...... many decasdes later..... but they play as fresh as in earlier years..... FANTASTIC! Thanks fpr uploading. Is it true thar the gig isfrom last year, from 2010????????
@c99sativa Couldn't agree more. This song rivals the very best work of Steely Dan in the early '70s. It would fit perfectly on "Can't Buy A Thrill" or "Countdown To Ecstasy."
It's nothing special (well, his playing is, but the scale isn't) It's A minor with a bit of chromatic walking - the chords are Am and F, and even Randy's soloing is pretty solidy in A minor. It's jazzy playing but not terribly jazzy chords.
You gotta love the guitar work from Randy Bachman! And I agree with zaphodwang, very good video. Check out C.F. Turner's bass licks at about the 6:10 mark! Great!!!
My favorite BTO song, good to see them still performing it.
Thanks.
