The part in The Prisoner of Azkaban was that, even if you went back in time to change something, everything would be the same. For example, when they went back in time, Hermione knew how to save them from Lupin. Before that they were saved by something howling in the distance, but only later on did they know that that was Hermione trying to distract Lupin. If that makes sense. I'm just trying to explain it for people who were wondering why Hermione didn't do something.

If Snape went back in time 50 (or so) years and killed Voldy before he was a threat, then he would have most likely ended up with Lily Evans. Main reason why Lily and Severus didn´t work out is becuase of Snape´s association with Death Eaters. Without Voldemort Dark Arts wouldn´t be so widespread and Death Eaters wouldn´t exist. So, Harry would most likely be Harry Snape.
