c'mmon she is more of a poser, she can't play squad, no sense of rhythm, nothing. and she doesn't feel the music, obviously she's grown up in a western culture. as others have said, keep practicing, don't show off so much and in a few years i might listen to her again :)

My 14 month old son has been drumming on anything he can get his hands on since about 2 months old. He now has a toy drum and loves to watch and jam along on all your videos! Thanks for being an inspiration even to little kids. That's a great thing!

@yuzukoyun By the way, if you would do the effort of looking around and searching a bit about her, you would learn that she's internationally recognized, touring in every country, playing with the best Middle-Eastern drummers and releasing CDs quite often. Raquy is sensationnal and tries to use different techniques instead of basic rythms which is probably the reason why she's so popular and good now!

@LaurianeDamara yes you can buy a ticket and fly to Egypt and Istanbul and get to know musicians if you have money. Look it's not so hard to find a studio and record; try to get a gig with known people and write a sentence or two on your website. I have been there. But virtuoso means something different. I acknowledge her enthusiasm and effort.

In short, she is trying and getting there but she is not a percussionist.In order to develop innovative approaches, one needs to grasp the basics first.

i really love your talent and your hand and finger skills, but it becomes increasingly difficult to twirl and sway when the groove is continuously broken by fast play, the doumbek is seductive, having fast technique on it is fine but over using that technique destroys its irresistable seduction

Raquy integrates a lot of different styles. A lot of this playing in the beginning is using tonbak-type strikes. A tonbak is a wooden persian drum.
