Video games are in a way bad for people BUT not for the reasons this arse hole and the people who want to ban it claim.
It is a fact video games in general (not just violent video games) shorten attention spans. This has been proven. Why is that bad? Makes people not as focused and causes them to be more impatient. It also can cause the lack of people skills, getting fat from playing WoW too much, and not getting laid.

Why does It always seem that television isn't criticized as harshly as video games/internet are? To me, i think it's because its an easy way for the media to spoonfeed you bullshit and propaganda and essentially brainwash you.
ALTHOUGH i can agree with his bit about cell phones. A basic one is nice to have for convenience purposes. My phone is 4 years old with no bells and whistles and i get along just fine. I call/text people sparingly, mainly to check my account balance or what have you.
