I respect the women and men of the air force and all branches of military. But is it just me or does the music in the background do no justice to them at all?
to everyone saying the chair force isnt hXc i suggest you tell that to a pj or security forces cause there as hard core as it gets but personally i was made for the marines still respect everyone the military is a well oiled machine which doesnt function without ever branch
I give respect to the cadets go through basic but going through basic training of 8 1/2 weeks in Lackland is completely different. But respect to both.

@smguy101 There are better ways to making someone feel physical pain then doing flutter kicks. I've always found flutter kicks easy and almost pointless. Shit like 100 reps of Jumping Lunges followed by 50 reps of Jump-Squat-Thrusts, 50 reps of flutter kicks, 50 push ups, 100 power knees on either side, 100 switch kicks, and then immediately followed by 20 to 30 reps (depending on if you're instructor is pissed or nice) of the 8-count pushup. That shit will tear you a new asshole.

I drive by this campus on my way from Colorado Springs to Denver. It is beautiful and I highly respect everyone who is able to strive through this training. They are the few who can and they are highly respected. Many of my friends go to the Air Force Academy.

@jinnahi101 Physically, the Air Force Academy is much more demanding; at least for the first few days, or even weeks, while you are getting acclimated. Considering that the Academy is at a high elevation, the cadets will become "winded" much easier than people at the other Academies. In a sense, the Air Force cadets are far from being pussies.
@jinnahi101 The only thing good about the A.F. are the para rescue aka PJs. What major battle has the A.F fought in that the American people know and when has the A.F been in a fire fight or on the front lines? Don't you ever say that the A.F does just as much as the other branches do; especially the Marine Corps.

@oMaG1CX hey get off the computer and go make me a big mac. im in the USAF and im enlisted i make about 70 grand a year plus medical benifits and they pay for my food and housing, and im stationed in europe and ive been to australia, thailand, singapore, hawai'i, alaska, germany, italy, uk, guam, south africa,dubai, saudi arabia, bulgaria, turkey, holland, romania, belgium, france, all over the states get this: for free! and i have my BA and i got that for free also. oh ill take that burger now.

Wow i don't a shit what other people say about the air force, but for those who call the Air Force pussies, fuck you. The air force is just as important as the Marines nor the Navy. They have just as much as respect as they should. The people that ARE in the air force do as much work to save and protect civilians. So for those who sit at home and talk shit about certain branches, i suggest you keep your mouth shut or have some respect.

@jinnahi101 Physically, the Air Force Academy is much more demanding; at least for the first few days, or even weeks, while you are getting acclimated. Considering that the Academy is at a high elevation, the cadets will become "winded" much easier than people at the other Academies. In a sense, the Air Force cadets are far from being pussies.

What major battle has the A.F fought in that the American people know and when has the A.F been in a fire fight or on the front lines? Don't you ever say that the A.F does just as much as the other branches do; especially the Marine Corps.

@craz4leland1979 I don't mean to be rude or anything, but any website that you looked at concerning the academy should have plainly stated that upon graduation, you will be commissioned an officer in the USAF. That is the purpose of the academy.

What is with the disrespect to the Air Force? Any one who joins the military deserves the most respect possible, including the Air Force. Any real soldier would respect all aspects of the military. Hell, I bet half of you couldn't even make it past the first day of the academy. Show a little respect for these amazing men and women.

The Air Force is a scandal ridden institution where the enlisted are starting to get pissed. Look at Jill Metzger! Are you guys proud of your leaders or what? Look at what happened to chrome-dome Moseley and the AF Sec---both fired at the same time---a historical first. Now they are cutting 6000 billets including newly graduated butter bars! That sucks!

Then there's the small fry that get barbequed everyday that you never hear about it. That all adds up! You're talking to a guy with a kid in Jr. ROTC and a dad who was a CIA ops officer. You've got to handle the situation under extremely stressful circumstances or else risk losing a 150 million dollar aircraft and your life.
