Einstein's theory of relativity was thought to be a nonsense too at first. As well as extracting energy that would blow up a continent from a 1 kilo of Uranium. Or that the earth was a sphere (stupid scientists then have said that the man would fall if the earth was spherical). As well as talking to people located on other planets through E/M waves.
