Yes, it's true!!! Hopefully, Eric will post a new video with him reunited with Mr. Hambone! Hambone must have escaped from his captors! It's a MIRACLE! If you are in the Southern Cal area, though, please keep looking for that van as other dogs they took are still missing!!! Say prayers for all of them!

I lost my Teacup Yorkie on St. Patricks Day and almost lost it and while I was searching for her I found your story and really felt for you! I went crazy passing out more then 500 flyers and putting up a gaint banner to find my little girl and guess what?!!! A lady called me yesterday and she had her!!! I gave her $500 and she was the sweetest woman, a house keeper and I know the money couldn't have gone to a better person

brokencole13 - I'm so sorry about the theft of your dog, too. Please keep checking the pounds on-line everyday. Alot of these dogs have gotten dumped back on the streets after awhile especially when the dog is a big dog and is just too docile for these people's intents. We've gotten SO many of them in Rescue over the years. Great dogs. I wonder now if they were stolen once and their owners just gave up looking.

Everybody in the LA area should look out for any van like this in any color with a crappy paint job because they might have painted it again. That's probably how it got the first crappy paint job. Just look for a banged up light rack on the top -- or where one might have been removed. I understand a late model red Dodge Charger/Magnum was involved as well.

Lets not all stereotype people who did this. Undesirable people come in all races in both genders. I pray this ring gets busted ASAP and all the dogs released. I worked in Rescue and we've gotten alot of dogs rescued from these situations. I pray everynight that Hambone remains safe until we can find him.

I had a white pit bull named Whitey. He was a fun loving family pet. Until one day in 1972 I came home from the elementary school and found his chain was sawed off from his doghouse. He was found dead 8 months later in the basement of the black gang in NYC, about 900 miles away from home. The police raided the place for drugs and caught them dogfighting. A lady cop found Whitey's tag and called us on Xmas Eve. We were shocked to hear those bastards chopped his head off because he lost the fight.

We've GOT TO GET HAMBONE BACK!!! Everyone track down this van! And look as you drive through the streets of downtown LA & elsewhere to see if he's loose. Memorize his picture. He could have been released when the people who took him realized he wasn't what they were looking for. Every night I visualize bright light on Hambone to keep him safe until we can get him back home with Eric.
