  • @luc59457 i dont think he has one...

  • You see, I wouldn't want to be exposed to all that wind and weather and that's why I would want to see this in an enclosed bike version like a velomobile.

  • @thedsearch Well, just about any bike can be covered. I am still planning on the cover for this one. I have the fiberglass, just need to form and mount.

  • do you know of any suppliers instock with the 36v 1000watt motor

    thanks

  • I left you a personal msg.

  • cool video.i been using a hub motor for 6 years and have over 3000 miles on it with no problems at all.i have been caught in the rain and the bike always made it back on and the motor never cuts out even on the steepest hills.

  • This motor never cut out for me either on really steep hills.. Unless the batteries are dead. I have a hub also, a 5305.. I have raised the voltage on it, the currie still beats it. This motor is a little beast. As for rain, I've rode in tons of it... Though I do not recommend it for chain drives, unless they're covered, it still has no problems in rain.

  • LoL, that was me saying something... "This should be good"

Not sure exactly what I said. No your not hearing voices or ghosts lmao.

  • Perhaps it is the sound of the motor...

  • SLA's are safe and for the life, price are better worth than lifepo4's at the moment.

  • The hub has no advantage over this motor in that situation. They are both sealed. You will need to cover the chain and sprockets or simply keep them oiled under wet conditions -which applies for any bicycle in the rain.

  • I sent a couple Qs to your utube account, but it didn't show up in "sent" folder. Lemme know if you got it. Thanks

  • Great. My my only concern is the wear and tear in rain. I'm thinking about using this to commute to work every day in Victoria, BC. Will the rain hurt it over time? The only disadvantage compared to hub motors.

  • So, I just had a quick look here following your posts on one of the forums. Are you selling Ebike conversion kits? These videos are inspiring? How do I begin converting my Kona Caldera mtn bike into an ebike with similar performance?

  • 65 kmh = 40 mph. 40mph is scary Fast on a bicycle.

Do you start out in the lowest gear then flip to the upper gears to get to that speed?

  • a quick part shows 69km/h but you can clearly see 65k. I have the original better quality video as proof.

  • DUDE WERE YOU GOING 65???

    HOLYSHIT

  • It did 50-53km/h steady against 20km/h gusts, same day.
