i tend to overreact sometimes. what i have a hard time with is to accept that people at work do not necessarily need to be your friend. i also feel like people have a hard time being impartial --if let's say they are also managers-- if they are friends with some other person at work. the kind of feedback those people get is different than if you are not friends with them
how can one tell if this is true or an overreaction? and how do you react or rather not react when the environment is hostile
i'm learning not to over react more and more. trying to be just very chill. it's been hard to re-train my brain but.....i'm learning. i'm getting there.
Life is how you react to things. I am changing my way of thinking by switching my positive switch on. Everyone has things they react to. Some people over-react to many things... or everything. I do sometimes but it depends on my mood.
I SO agree with you about over reaction. I think it says so much more about the person who reacts, than the person who has said whatever has caused the reaction. It is much more satisfying to kind of 'hold your own', to be internally strong and allow others to have their opinions, ways of going through the world, without having to justify your own 'way' through intense reactions. Like you said, saying 'O.K.' and then just doing the right thing. Very cool.

Very true. Your reaction can jeopardize your results. We need to learn to quit being our own worst enemies.

Sharon have I ever told you how sweet you seem? I'm so estatic about your progress and what you've accomplished here. I really mean that.
