I planted some rasberry seeds from my supermarket last year and I put them in the ground with worm compost. I didn't know I should have cut the stem. can I cut the stem this spring and wait until next year for some berries? I have 4 of them and they are about 8 to 18 inches tall.Or better yet from the tip of your middle finger to the middle of your forearm to your elbow bend.
If you have autumn raspberries, you can cut them in february / march and you will have berries this year (on 1 year shoots). Summer raspberries will bear fruit next year (on the 2-year shoots).
Just got myself some rasp bushes this week and looking forward to starting them off. Thankyou for the video and easy explanation sir
