I think of you all often ,,especially poms aussies and yanks and on d day and going thru the islands. It rips my heart out what you had to go through - God bless you all ,, living and dead. I admire and I am very greatful to all the men and woman who fought to ensure our freedom and the survival of our country. They were a generation of good moral charactor and would walk a mile to pay you back.

Never in the history have the lines between good and evil been so clear as they were in World War II. It was a war between mankind at its worst and mankind at its best. Because of the sacrafice of many good men we live in a better world. If only the same could be said about all wars. It seems as time goes on wars become increasingly less black and white and more and more grey. Heroes and villans are not as easy to tell apart. I only hope we learn something from this the greatest generation.
