The Lakers can have this jackass back! He hasn't done shit since being traded except pout and act more concerned about the shitty reality show he's on.
he knows what the business of basketball is like. trades happen even with major players. lamar was a major player for the lakers their 6th man and starter whenever needed. i feel for the man cuz he loved LA but he shouldn't have taken it so hard. he won 2 titles thats more than the malone stockton barkley webber reggie ewing iverson and the list goes on for the legends like them that should have one. they traded u to a contender in dallas he wouldnt be bitching if my nigga dirk repeated
They only give him a standing ovation because 98% of the brainless drones in LA who only goto the games to see Kobe dont even know that he ASKED to be traded. If they knew that they wouldnt applaud him. Most think he was just traded with no say at all. He like begged to be traded for fk sakes. Like a 5 year old. THEY MIGHT TRADE ME FOR CP3?? ILL SHOW THEM!!! *marches into lakers head office* TRADE ME!!! U CANT FIRE ME IF I QUIT FIRST~!!! lol. smh. he would still be a laker if he wanted.
Big fuckin mistake for the Lakers. Now they suck dick. They're crazy if they think they can get even remotely close to the level they played at last year which was sub par to begin with
I don't blame Lamar for being heartbroken. The Lakers were stupid. If you want to rebuild a championship roster, you keep the franchise player (Kobe) and the guy that plays three positions (Odom). Replace ANYBODY else.
Lamar Odom most likely regretted this trade demand, and he's doin poorly in Dallas but this is mainly because of David Stern's provoking decision of preventing CP3 from going to the Lakers if Stern is against big name players from small market NBA teams going to big market NBA teams why did he still let CP3 go to Los Angeles but with the other Los Angeles NBA team? favoritism and injustice It's just not fair the Clips have 3 former/current allstar point guards now
@fashonthem stfu you sound stupid as shit dont ever disrespect shaq a real laker fan would never say anything against him no matter what he does or did
I would have loved to see him stay with us but if he demanded to go what was the front office to do? We will always be grateful for what he did during his time here but once you open your mouth to go, its probably gonna happen. Now, as long as you don't retire with a rival team like the Celtics you're ok...with that said, Shaq!...I love what you did for us but you retiring in a Celtics jersey tainted your time with us. I NEVER want to see your jersey hand in our house! Never...GO LAKERS!
i dont get the standing ovation at all. as much as i appreciate everything he did for the lakers and how he was there through the good and the bad times, the guy was a sensitive prick and failed to understand the business aspect of basketball. trades happen and lamar just took it personally thinking he was too good to be traded or something like that. im glad to see him playing like shit in dallas. he pretty much lost all my respect for him when he pulled that little stunt
@Ducksrule123 What a stupid comment. You are the fucking reason when you work your ass off in some fucken office job for 10 years and get shit house fucken pen as a thank you when you finish up. Fucken kill yourself you stupid, stupid, cunt.
@Mailme81 yup! thats exactly who i am. and since you seem too special to read what i wrote earlier, i will reiterate. i DO appreciate all he did for the lakers during his time in LA but after the way he handled the trade situation, i lost all my respect for him. he should have sacked up and handled it the way pau handled it. by getting OVER IT. the NBA is a business if you didnt already know that, lamar failed to realize that. suck me clean you piece of trash
@SAHLISS They offered him as a package deal to get chris paul...who were they supposed to offer? Luke Walton? Come on! Odom DEMANDED a trade...the lakers were more than willing to keep him. This is a business and trades come with the territory. Get over it and move on.
@musicfan0300 Bullshit! The lakers didn't want him. He said if you don't want me I don't wanna be here an guess what happend? The laker higher ups traded him the next day. They did not want him.
Nice little to salute to Odom but he could have stayed. He should already kno the business hes in. Now hes playing like shit for the Mavs and fucking up my Fantasy Basketball team lol
@StonersLane They tried to trade him to get chris paul. What team wouldn't have done that if they had players like lamar to take in return? If he didn't want a possibility of being traded then he should have incorporated a no trade clause in his contract. He's up for grabs just like anyone else on his team. (except kobe) I guess he forgot that trades are apart of the business.
@musicfan0300 I gotta be honest i would be pissed too if i was Lamar. Considering how well he played during his years as Lakers, especially the final two, i would be kinda piss that they tried to trade me. But the fact that they traded him to Dallas out of the blue just pissed me off. And not even for a player, but for a draft pick...
@musicfan0300 You nailed that one down the hammer, same point I'm trying to make. Lamar felt like he was a legend and wouldn't be traded at all and when he found out, he came out crying and feeling 'betrayed'. I swear, I'm glad that headcase isn't with us anymore. Thanks for the 2009 Championship, Lamar (Reason why I only thank him for the 09 championship, was because Lamar was invisible the 2010 playoffs/finals).
@4evrLALakers Felt betrayed? What the fuck is he a legend? Unless you're a franchise player, you're going to get traded, simple as that. Understand this, it's a business and if you get traded you handle it like a MAN and a professional not like a 10 year-old complaining about 'why do I have to go to new orleans? I don't wanna'. Imagine if you did the same thing to your job/boss? Shit..
This dude is amazing! I have so much respect for him... takes it all like a champ and gets on with his life! Meanwhile, Kris Humphries is talking ish about stupid things

Stupid fans giving him a standing ovation, for what? For crying (literally, crying) to not play for the New Orleans Hornets and wanting to stay with the Lakers? Look where that got ya Lamar! I swear, true fans should have boo'ed his ass because Lamar clearly does NOT want to play for the Lakers, if he did he'd still be a Laker. Good riddance, buddy, this laker fan does not miss you and is much more pleased with McRoberts who doesn't stand @ the 3-point line like LO used to.

@prityricky1 u can tell he was about to get emotional already...he can score he just dont wanna play for dallas..i gurantee eitehr way hes goin to go back to L.A..soon...not gonna be with dallas next year with lakers...he spent most of his career and went thru alot there..with kobe and what not..i wish we had him im a rockets fan lol but nah..i got mad respect for this guy..hope he goes back home.
Love you LO ! Im sure Lamar was beyond honored , it probably meant a lot to him considering how hard it was for him & Khloe to leave LA & all .... We love Lamar !
Shows how much us Laker<3 fans appreciate a good player, unlike Cavalier fans. We miss you Lamar "Candyman" Odom, you will forever be our 6th man and a Laker!
