Why do these signals go off so early?

@UltraJoosh Because they are to warn that the train is approaching. Once it has come, there`s no need to make additional noise. Note, the lights are still blinking until the train passes.

@YurAES214 I know that. They just go off so much earlier than they do in the U.S.
@UltraJoosh And earlier than in Ukraine or Russia as well. That seems to be energy sparing.
