And the 69 chargers had head rests this charger is a 68 because it does not. And just because you change a grill nd the tail light panel doesn't change the year the car was made. This car. • This is from the newer Dukes of Hazard Movie :] I guess you were "behind the scenes" ?

  • @ishallkil New? The video was posted in 2008 :P

  • @ishallkil he has to be cause u can here toward the end the director say thts it cut cut cut

  • bad ass

  • wow people are stupid. Its a 69 Charger. you can tell by the front grill and rear tail lights. (68's has to round ones on each side) and the the size is the exact same.

  • Fabulous drift... :)

  • oh and your dum as fuck if ya think a muscle car cant drift these new pices of shit cant hold a candle to 65 mustang

  • hell yaaaaaa but that would of put to much at risk for me my luck i wold clip one of the cars rol and crash into 4 or five other cars

  • holy fuckk dude.

  • Amazing to see all the shit chat in here, first of all this is a specially equipped

drift car with all kinds of special brakes, adjustable steering, completely rebuilt chassis etc, secondly it´s driven by Rhys Millen who´s one of the world´s best

stunt/drift drivers. Of course you can drift any RWD car with a little power but

this is a special set up car and I believe the shoot is some kind of Dukes of Hazzard pr thing...

  • dude that shit look so illegal that it looks fake whoever is driving this car contact me I have a job for you as my new get away driver lol

  • @r1killen

    It's from the movie...

  • EPIC WIN! :D

  • What and who was going DANT DA DA DA DUNT DANT at the end???

  • Nice, the General Lee driving around Lee Circle. I've watched many a parade from that spot.

  • this car is on selling right now I think

  • Racecar31c ur an idiot because the pro drifters drift with rwd or awd cars dumbass

  • what song is that?

  • thats not drifting

  • @DOHCrex What is drifting then?

  • @DOHCrex lmao ok you dual over head cams(DOHC) retard why dont you go find a parking garage and attempt to do your little tokyo drifts.

  • @DOHCrex

Really? Tell that to Rhys Millen. He was the one driving the car in this clip. He said it was drifting. And I would think he would know since drifting is his day job.

  • @DJRedBarron idk man just seemed more like a power slide to me, just a simple slide with little to no throttle control. thats rhys millen really? i stand corrected then lol and to the d bag above referring to my screen name "DOHC" lol yes we all know what it means. apparently you do not. and rex is a common nick name for the crx hince the name DOHCrex. i have an 87 Si with a zc swap. and ive been working on and building cars for well over a decade. its what i get paid to do.

  • @DOHCrex No worries, man. Yea, this was a drift done a few times around Lee Circle for the 2005 Dukes Of Hazzard movie. And that was indeed Rhys. He did most of the driving for "Bo Duke" in the film.

  • nice

  • Nicely done... Smartarse motherfucker.

  • lol just like the original scene

  • Drifting is what you do with a front wheel drive sissy car. That is rear wheel V8 power. Remember, there is no replacement for displacement.

  • @racecar31c so....what would you call what happened in the video?

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • what song is that for the intro?

  • faker than jesus

  • this is from the dukes of hazzard movie with jonny knoxville....

  • America!! Fuck Yeah!!!

  • @h3nk43655 silly boy.

  • @TheStarletboi nah, he's right

  • Did any one else watch this more than 5 times in a row cause i did sick drift

  • lol your all wrong thats just chuck Norris Driving his every day car and thats how he drives every were.

  • yeah muscle cars can drift, but most like that are really heavy so its hard to do that

  • i can watch that video over and over and over again, its so badass

  • Why does this say it is a '68? Did they change the grill and the tail panel? 69 was the only year with a split grill which this has, and the 68 was the only one with round tailights, which this does not have. Unless they changed either of those that would make this a 69.

  • hahah, the dukes show the ricers how it is done!!!! haha!

  • @4431prw are you serious? 240 sx would shit over that anyday!

  • @4431prw although i will say, for a car of its age, absolutely fuckin beautiful drift!

  • was it from the movie?

  • thats a clip from the movie

  • WTF this was in dukes of Hazzard

  • Let's see, muscle cars have:

    -RWD

-A ton of low end torque

-Weight distribution with most at the front

By these general traits alone, it's pretty obvious that muscle cars can easily drift and actually drift really well in the right hands.

  • Rhys Millen is one hell of a driver and did most of the pursuit driving including the drifting sequence in the Dukes movie. The stunts and the General Lee were great, but I would of liked to see the original cast members used in this movie.

  • they used a bunch of 68s in the dukes of hazard new movie

  • @beaubrown1996 No wonder cuz i wondered why the seats were smaller.. that explains why they made the body tail and front look like a 1969. Still cool however. Cuz i know 69 chargers are quite bigger than 68's right?

  • fakeee galileeeeeo help please

  • This alraedy proves that you are not the owner of this car. this IS a Dodge Charger 69. and nice drift move, took a big risk there, crash or be famous, your famous ;D

  • ok guys this is a 69 I looked at it CLOSELY for those of you thinking its a 68 look at the tailights and look at the front end closely.

  • @ac30165

the grill and tail lights can be changed, its a 68, what gives it away is that there are no side markers on the fenders, they covered up the round 68 maker lights, second is the fact that there are no reverse lights under the back bumper, the reason is the 68 chargers had the reverse lights up in the middle with the brake lights and when they changed to 69 tail lights the reverse lights were removed.

third is the 68 charger seats, 69 seats had head rests.

  • Damn! He got some skills!

  • If you know a lot about cars, by looking at it you can tell something's wrong (looks, sounds, etc). If you're REAAAAALLY good at cars, you know what the car needs by just listening to it, you know what's wrong with it by just listening to it.

  • If it's RWD, it can drift (also depends on how strong it is)

If it's FF, it CAN drift, but you'll have a hard time.

If you know how to drift and avoid collision in circles with traffic, this is a a WIN!!!!

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR

FWD can powerslide, they dont drift

  • @migesss I've done it dry blacktop parkinglot. It's a freshly made parkinglot. It's really hard. Smoking the front wheels while the rears are e-brake. It's a boosted k20 in an eg hatch. I cracked one of the piston lol

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR a K20 eh? well, you know that every kill begins with K.....lol

  • @migesss haha you can make a fwd car drift. just add some horsepower (atleast 300) and e brake it around a turn ;) but to keep it going you have to let off the e brake then apply it again JUST to keep it at an angle. there are videos of professionals doing it. i did it myself. quite exhausting if you ask me :/

  • That's from the dukes of hazard movie

  • Anyone who says this is a 68 charger, you seriously need to never speak about cars again, because you're not cool. to anyone that knows shit about cars, you can clearly tell its a fucking 69. Go google image the front and back of both a 68 and a 69 and then watch the video. Jesus tapdancing christ.....

  • @RenegadeMadeVideoman they can easily change the grill and rear end. look it up. its all bolts and nut that hold the grill and rear lights on.

  • fuckin awsome sounds really healthy fuck rice go muscle

  • scene from dukes of hazzard

  • Great !

  • quality

  • nice to see classic muscle going sideways, but cmon lets keep that on the track. you can easily take someones life doing this on a public road

  • that proves all those ricer faggets wrong MUSCLE CARS CAN DRIFT!!!!!!!

  • @snoop540 we werent saying that they couldnt, for example look up vaugn gitten jr

  • @snoop540 muscle cars were the begining of drifts. and drifting was invented by rednecks and was called powersliding. fuck the ricers and there tokyo drift shit. the movie shouldve been alabama powerslide

  • @imashaunnotsean are you from alabama?

  • @PetrusDaMan are you from china town?

  • @imashaunnotsean why cant it just be "Americans?"...why does it have to be only rednecks?

  • @snoop540 well actually they built a complete new suspension system with independent rear suspension instead of a axle, so technically its not the orriginal muscle car.

  • @snoop540 American muscles car sure CAN DRIFT, but the matter is, how the drift generally end ^^ ( with u screaming while u're going backward through a hedge or in a field ^^ )

  • @snoop540

was the faggets comment necessary? u fucking bigot

  • @snoop540 They probably had to do some work to the car before it could do this, and also, Japanese created drift, therefore you use japanese cars.

  • @Brendan1470 Leave it to the Asians to turn bad driving into a sport...

I guess if you're going to take a corner sideways, you might as well do it better than anyone else.

  • @Brendan1470 I highly doubt that the Japanese INVENTED drifting. Maybe the official name, but ever since you could do a burnout I bet people have been drifting. And no, you don't necessarily need a Japanese car, you just need a rear wheel drive. If you've got the money, you can convert any car you want into a rear wheel drive. A lot of money though.

  • @Brendan1470 Japanese call it drifting, but here in America we called it "Powersliding" and have been doing it since the 50's

  • somebody always gotta bitch on youtube....

  • its a 69 (split grill) and this is side footage from the movie.

  • thats a scene from the movie you can here the director say "thats a cut"

  • FUCK YOU!

  • luky you !

you were at the moviepoint in dukes of hazzard !

  • WEll who gives a shit yes the original was a 69 but that drift was fucking awesome!!

  • @Ridzy2489 Hell yeah, badass drift

  • by the way thats a 1969 charger

  • they used a 68 in this video ik the orig. was a 69

  • The car they are using in this clip is a 69

  • @joesnicecars no the didnt use a 68 in the video, they used a 69.. you can tell by the vertical bar that splits the grill and the flat long brakelights, unlike the 68 which had a complete grill without vertical bar, and 4 circular tail lights, two to each side. Think before ya post smart one. Good Day

  • @RenegadeMadeVideoman it was a 68, if you look at the side reflecter its a circle up on the front fender. the 69 was a rectangular reflecter.

  • @generalleegoku Sigh... you clearly know nothing about vehicles.. Here.

Note: Subsitute (dt) for an actual dot.

Pause video at 0:12 or 0:13

Now look at a Picture of the front of a 68

    randyshr(dt)com/1968_Charger_RT/68_Charger_front_large(dt)jpg

    Now pause at 0:15

and look at a Picture of the back of a 68.

    randyshr(dt)com/1968_Charger_RT/back(dt)jpg

The car in the video is CLEARLY a 69, so all of you enough.

  • @RenegadeMadeVideoman dude i know. on the dukes of hazzard they didnt just use 69 chargers. they used 68 and 69 charger during the show. the way you could tell was the side markers. 69 had requtangular side reflecters. 68 had curcular side reflecters. there were more 68 chargers built than any other year. on to what i was saying, the charger used on the drift is a 68 but they put 69 front and rear end on it i know chargers very well. they wrecked 34 chargers on this movie and 310 on the show

  • @generalleegoku Lets put it this way, if it has a 69 body, and a 68 chassis, its a fuckin 69. If i put a fuckin Prius body on a fuckin Viper Chassis, its still a fuckin prius. Ever heard "if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then its probably a duck"

  • @RenegadeMadeVideoman they have the same body. the only difference is the front end rear and side reflecters. you could easily put a 69 front and rear end on a on a 68 body. if you look at the title it will say 68. hell you could even put a 70 front end on a 68 or 69 charger. that doesnt mean its a 70 charger. ive been around cars all my life. dont tell me i dont know anything about cars. i probably know more than you do, especially mopar.
